As an American tourist on my very first night in England, I was eager to experience a traditional British steakhouse. I had heard great things about Miller and Carter in Hayward's Heath, so I decided to give it a try.

Lovely atmosphere and even a roaring fire! Angie was a lovely server, friendly and knowledgeable when we asked for recommendations of how to have our steak cooked. Calamari for starter was so crispy and decent sized portion. Then steak sandwich for mains which was delicious, and again decent portion
Had a fabulous meal today for my 50th Birthday.
The food was just amazing, best steak I’ve ever had.
Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went above and beyond.

The staff were very friendly and patient. Patient, because some members of our group took their time to decide what they wanted to eat and drink, as well as complicate their orders. Unbeknownst to me, there was a birthday surprise arranged for me and the two other members that were celebrating birth
