Tinpickle & Rhum - Haytor Vale - Photo album

We stayed at the hotel so enjoyed a couple of meals here over the space of the weekend. A great spot with Haytor on your doorstep. Food was great, very reasonably priced and good sized portions. Very enjoyable overall and would visit again.
Had a superb meal with family. We each had something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were attentive, made us welcome and no unnecessary fuss. Thanks.
We visited here for the first time this weekend with my grandparents. Having pre booked we had a table reserved, we forgot to mention on booking we needed wheelchair access but the staff were very accommodating and quickly found us a nice table to suite our needs. Dog friendly pub, have small bowls
Lovely place, clean and very pretty. Had the whole place to ourselves just before 5pm. Large portions and very attentive waiter.
Amazing restaurant. Fantastic server's the waiter that looked after us was brilliant and friendly and the food was great ! Loved the atmosphere so would recommend
We booked a table for over twenty of us and on the whole enjoyed our tasty lunches. we relished the opportunity to sit outside for coffee afterwards and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the gardens. During our meal, Phil, one of the waiters, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience
Good menu, good food, good service, good atmosphere, good price what more could you want? (Well maybe better sign at entrance and website! Worth the effort to find but easy to drive past)
Great food, great prices, staff extremely helpful with brilliant service, very clean environment. Visited again for a birthday meal, wow, food and service was amazing. You really need to try this place 😋
Stopped by for a pint and cream tea. Top notch cream tea. Lovely pub attached to the hotel with plenty of big tables for groups - think ours was an old chemistry class room table.. Get the feeling the food would be good here, although can't vouch for it.
Very welcoming place in a fantastic setting, just a short walk from Haytor rocks. We were welcomed in for a drink on the sunny terrace despite looking quite bedraggled after a long walk on the Moor!
Nice food. Plenty of tables. The staff were all polite and courteous. Would recommend for a fancy dinner or a meal after being in the wilderness. They have room for both.
Lovely gem up on Dartmoor bottom of haytor. Great that it is dog friendly also... a big bonus for us. 3 of us came up.. Sunday must of been less than 20 people including us in restaurant food took a hour n had to ask twice for the toast that is ment to come with the breakfast. Staff all seemed bi
So lovely food. They have opportunities of improvement in service. Though with good food and nice atmosphere you won't notice that.
Nice place to eat after walk on the moor. Not quite what was expected as part of a 4 star hotel. It’s divided into two. The first part is a pub really with a bar and tables. Dogs allowed here. There is also a conservatory. Meals are served in both areas. The food was fine, and service ok
Fair prices and portion sizes, unlike a lot of other local eateries. Nice log burner, good burgers and dog friendly! Lots of parking and perfect location for a moorland walk. Not much to dislike considering current country's climate...
Dog Friendly and convenient location for walks on the moor. Allergens all noted on the menu were a bonus!
The way we see it: the chef should get a raise, the waitresses should get a new manager. A bit of an extra effort would make it a great place.
