Under the new management the pub has come on in leaps and bounds. Lovely pub,Great management and staff and the food is delicious.The Sunday Roast will take some beating and is well priced.
Jaki, Marcus , Chris and the team have made this a fantastic family friendly pub. The menu and food is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. So much so I had my 40th here and the buffet would not have looked out of place at a wedding. Amazing. Great pub garden with kids area too. X
Have just moved to hayling island and thought myself and my hubby would go out for a meal yesterday took my mum and dad too we had brunch was lovely the staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was 100% we will definitely be going again.

Every time we go here it is a very good night, even all the staff run off their feet on Saturday for the Rugby they were all still happy till the end of their shifts and Marcus still found time to stop and talk to all customers even though very busy, missed the Australian special food though, never mind xx
I pop down 2 Hayling Island when i get the chance as my Mum & Dad live on the Island, i came down 4 Mothers Day with my Brother the other weekend & we always pop out 4a few beers, we thourght we would try a different pub 4a change so we decided 2 pop 2 the West Town Inn, came down 4 this weekend 4 my Mum & Dads 60th Wedding Anniversery so we popped in 4 the Joshua fight, wherever u were in the pub u could see the fight on 1 of there many screens, great atmosphere, bar staff were very promt in serving you, whenever we come down we'll always go 2 the West Town Inn, i hope they get the B & B up & running again so there's somewhere 2 stay when we come down, Highly Recomended!�

Lovely decor, fresh, clean, warm, and inviting.
Great menu, not overloaded with too many choices. The food is great! I had a Stilton and mushroom burger. Full of flavour, juicy and tasty. My daughter had the kids chicken nuggets and fries. Again, nice flavour and tasty.
I would highly recommend anyone on the island to stop in and enjoy this little pub!!
Friendly, happy pub. Lots of effort gone into the garden area. Suitable for kids. Lovely. Food wasn't great but the atmosphere made up for it.
Had a wonderful Sunday roast a few weeks ago. What a turn around from years gone by, the pub has had so much love poured into it, it looks beautiful and the food is amazing! Would 100% recommend

The West Town Inn, situated in the heart of Hayling Island, is a charming and welcoming inn that provides an ideal destination for tourists and locals alike. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Max, the landlady, who was warm and friendly from the outset. She was attentive to our needs and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay.
The food at the West Town Inn was excellent, with Alan the chef preparing delicious and satisfying dishes. In particular, the Sunday roast was a standout. It was cooked to perfection, and the portion size was more than generous. Alan's attention to detail and use of fresh, local produce was evident in every bite, and I highly recommend his creations to anyone visiting the inn.
One unexpected surprise was the free entertainment provided after we finished our meal. It was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day, and the musicians were incredibly talented. The atmosphere was lively, and it was clear that both the guests and the locals were enjoying themselves.
Overall, my experience at the West Town Inn was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Max and Alan have created a wonderful establishment, and their dedication to providing top-quality food and entertainment is outstanding - we will be back.
Always love the atmosphere and food in this pub but finally visited for a Sunday roast this week after it being recommended several times. It did not disappoint.
The staff are lovely. The food was great and it is so child friendly.

Nice pub with a lovely big garden serving decent pub grub at a reasonable price...welcoming staff offering good service. The pub is family friendly and has a play area for kids and I believe they offer overnight parking for campervans/motor homes.
I live very close to the pub, moved in during lockdown last year, and immediately heard 'horror stories' about the pub's dreadful reputation, past landlords/ladies and it's clientele...I am very happy to say the new Landlady appears to have turned the place around maintaining a friendly atmosphere and is very mindful of the local residents.
Pleasant pub and attractive beer garden, with some pet rabbits for children to look at. Visited for drinks but stayed to eat as there was a nice varied menu. Great experience all round

Lovely place for a hearty Sunday roast. Very generous portions, good roasties and yorkies! The beef could have been a little tenderer but the pork was great. Will definitely be back again soon.

I love this pub! It is well run, nest, tidy and very spacious. Great place for a drop-in drink on our dog walk. The atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly and attentive.
Stopped off for Sunday lunch. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Meal was nice, reasonably priced too.
Gluten free Pork roast, shame they don't do gluten free Yorkshire puddings, so easy to make with cornflour.
An absolutely wonderful place with fantastic food and delightful people. The main courses were fabulous and the dessert was to die for.
Booked a table for 7 plus a dog and had a great Sunday roast and pudding and everyone enjoyed it We visit every year and are never disappointed
