Another wonderful meal at the Ferryboat Inn on Hayling Island. Delicious Hunter’s Chicken and a sublime Rump Steak. Great service and free parking will ensure our return in the near future.
Had amazing Fish and Chips. Really enjoyed it. We all enjoyed our meals Great location. Dog friendly .. Thank you
We love to come here after swimming and watch at the sunset. The food is interesting and delicious. They also have non alcoholic gin and wine, which it's useful when you drive. It's a very lovely and popular place.
We just popped in for some pudding and to watch the sun go down.
It was a sticky toffee sponge. We chose to have the hot custard on it. It had such an amazing taste!
Then we sat outside. There were so many lovely places to sit inside and outside.
And the staff were all helpful and friendly.

Wish I'd found this place earlier.
The food was absolutely superb, and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
I would highly recommend.
Excellent location to eat with good food and nice beer. Views of the sea outstanding.
Lovely place, went here for a 70th birthday party and thought the atmosphere was perfect, food was lovely and the staff were just as lovely... I'll be going back again. There's also loads of tables/benches outside with amazing views, must be awesome in the summer months when the evenings are long.
Stopped in for lunch on a really sunny day so dined outside on the waterfront which was lovely. Food was good and service was excellent.
Stopped off for a quick lunch while working down the road. Young staff were happy and inviting, setting is stunning looking out over the sea. Lunch was served fast, well presented and tasted great. Good value on all fronts
Amazing food and the social side of the atmosphere was amazing and what an amazing view. First time here and not the last top team even the new staff member was attentive and friendly
Nice pub good atmosphere and views also dog friendly worth a visit
We came for Sunday lunch at 2.15 which we had booked. We had to wait an hour for our food and they seemed very short staffed as it took ages to get served at the bar. The meals were good when they came and very large. Worth noting that you get a voucher from the pub to scan so that you don't have to
What is there not to like about this place. Huge car park with a very clever ANPR system that means you get free parking if you spend more than £5. A great old building with different areas to chose from in a great location. A wide selection of great value food to chose from and Amy the head waitres
A nice pub with good food and selection of drinks. Plenty of seating both indoors and out, which is needed especially on a hot day as it can be very busy.
I was so impressed with the Ferry having eaten here for the first time despite living on Hayling for over 8 years. The service was fantastic, all of us enjoyed our meals, they catered wonderfully for the children with colouring and a great children’s menu and the price wasn’t bad at all. There was a
We’ve been in today for our Sunday lunch. The staff were really good however they were arguing amongst themselves about service. There didn’t seem to be any clear leadership. There was very loud base music coming from the kitchen. And I mean loud. Everytime they opened the door it was horrendous. Bu
A lovely dog friendly pub (inside and outside welcome).
The food was lovely, some nature with the birds around.
Staff were all friendly and seemed happy.
A nice relaxed atmosphere with a lovely view across the bay.
Fairly touristic place, the Signature Salad was of good quality. It's all about the location - when you sit outside the view is pretty unique since your sitting right at the waterfront.
