My wife and I decided to try the new Drift restaurant at Sparks boat marina this evening.
We were greeted as we entered and made to feel very welcome, the atmosphere is very relaxing, easy listening music Sinatra etc, good range of drinks and quality cocktails (try the Classic Mojito) table service was attentive and the food was exceptional (try the Rib for melt in the mouth beef), I would highly recommend giving it a go.
What a fantastic place! Our group of 10 had a great xmas night out. The food was amazing, hot tasty and plenty of it. The restaurant is lovely and the staff really welcoming and friendly. The 2 for 1 cocktails were a bonus! Thank you James and the rest of the staff for looking after us! We will be back! ���
Had lunch which was great!!!Even went back in the evening after working on our boat.Staff were fun, efficient and knowledgeable.Had great fun, beer Guinness cocktails and wine were good.The menu isn't huge which is sensible it was fresh and cooked perfectlyWe had all the small bits and some lovely pizzas.
Definaty will go back and keep up the great work.

Another really good evening at Drift last night. We went for the Aperol party on purpose so knew there would be music which we enjoyed. Great service, lovely food (serving Sunday lunch into the evening which was good though we missed the Yorkshires) and fabulous cocktails! Thanks very much Team Drift - you gave us another fun night again!
Ate here for the first time yesterday and we all had roast beef. This is one of the best roast dinners I have had in a restaurant. The setting is beautiful and the staff friendly and attentive. Will be returning

Visited after seeing on Facebook and thought it looked great, it was. Pizza each along with side salad and cheesy garlic bread. Followed by lemon tart and cheese board. All was fabulous. Also had a couple of cocktails- driftini and after eight- 2 for £10. Bargain and definitely worth it.

First visit to Drift, Hayling Island and WoW!! Food was amazing, I had a roast dinner - Pork, it was on point, the presentation of the food was excellent and the whole meal was cooked to perfection and soooo tasty!! Kids had pizza and that looked and tasted better than the big chain restaurants. Dessert was to die for, again, very presentable and tasty. The view of the marina is unique, I bet this is lovely in the summer. Staff are very friendly and presentable. Excellent value for money. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT AFTERNOON.

We met some friends there last night and the service and food was fantastic! Can highly recommend the wood fired pizzas and also the cocktails... We will be back!
Wow! We visited tonight with our three kids and it was just awesome. Kids pizzas were great value and wood fired perfection plus our seafood pasta was simply incredible. Lovely location, great service and it all comes together as a fantastic occasion. Highly recommended.

Quite a private location on the marina near the fishing boats which was nice, the staff were very friendly and informative! The place is dog friendly too which was great. Not too many choices on the menu but i loved that the fish was locally sourced and freshly caught. From what i remember there wasn’t music and it did get quite loud with the other customers but that’s to be expected.
After reading a review about long food waiting time i was a bit sceptical but for us our food came in quite good time! The desserts especially came within ten minutes of ordering so very pleased about that. Overall great experience!
Absolutely fantastic visit today 30/07/23! The Sunday sharing plate is delicious. The staff were all brilliant, attentive and friendly. The service was spot on - having visited several times now in the past I disagree with all the comments about slow service and poor staff.
Good food, service a bit slow, and I was very disappointed that they weren’t doing cocktails because they looked to have great options for them. However, the service overall was good. Mains and starters arrived at the same time, which is not traditional, however it was welcome from me as we had been waiting a fair while after ordering. Great for locals with a nice indoor and outdoor aesthetic.
I visited the Drift last week at lunchtime. There were five of us in total, plus two dogs. Everyone liked the venue and the food and service were very good. It was good to see that there is now a greater choice of gluten free items, as this was the need of one of my guests. The Drift is the place I visit when I have guests. I always find the staff very helpful in arranging for any extra requests you need to make. I had the ‘fish of the day’ when I was there. It was delicious, and I throughly recommend it.
This fantastic restaurant is a hidden gem that we were so happy to find. We had the best meal we’ve eaten in a long time and it was great value too.
The staff are so friendly and make sure you’re well looked after, we really felt welcome.
A wonderful place to have a great meal and views of a great marina too!

Unlike most bars, soft drinks in the extreme heat were very very reasonably priced. Served by pleasant staff and made to feel welcome. Will certainly pay further visits. Didn't eat on this occasion but the food being served looked excellent.
Excellent food. Service and surroundings. Haven't been to Hayling Island for years, but we will come back to the Drift again for certain.
Really nice chili and garlic prawns, we all enjoyed the pizzas, and the swordfish steak was perfect.
Delightful casual restaurant on the marina. Good variety to the menu. Great view of the sun going down while enjoying fish and chips with a cheeky sauvignon blanc. Lovely waitresses. Worth a drive.
