Really nice relaxing break. Room had obviously been re furbished recently, with my only niggle being there was no air con but there was a Dyson fan with a cooling setting. Good base to explore the area. Evening meals were tasty and service was very good. Loved the gym, and a decent pool too. Nice view from the front of the hotel just outside the restaurant.
Nice views, staff friendly, although at breakfast stand about and don't clear tables. Rooms good pretty clean, but doors bang when closing, especially middle of the night. But would stay again.

The only disappointment was the fact that it was card payment only, I think that you should beable to pay cash, there was nowhere that said this until you got there
Stayed for 4 nights, a great location & great hotel. Leisure facilities with lovely swimming pool & spa. Food was very good & staff very helpful...bar service would benefit from skilled, efficient, smiling staff. Would return & recommend....

Have stayed a few times now - staff make places and we have never been disappointed. Always happy to help and go out of their way. Rooms are clean and well set up. Pool is lovely and warm. Great buffet breakfast. Have to book for dinner as it is very popular but there are other good places nearby.
My partner and i arrived friday and departed Monday, we have had a lovely time. Quite afew times we have stayed in the hotel and definitely will return
I love our occasional visits here. Its a nice hotel in a good location. The quality of the food in the restaurant is nothing short of excellent.There's a nice bar and pleasant lounges. The rooms are good too. The health suite is a good facility. Highly recommended.
The room was ok but for £92 was a bit expensive when you got the generator outside you windows making a noise all night so you can't sleep very well

Stayed here night of 13th March 2023.
We had a very pleasant stay here in a very relaxing location. The staff were all really welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - especially at dinner, although the trendy serving of pie chips and gravy on a board seems silly to me. But, although awkward to eat, the pie was delicious! My wife had the flowerpot dessert which was brilliantly creative and delicious. The chocolate ganache pie and ice cream we're really tasty too!
The bar lady after dinner was great and created a very nice atmosphere. The spirits collection is epic!!
The pool and spa facilities were ok but looked very tired and in need of attention. Also, with a spa pool, sauna and steam room, you would expect some kind of cold shower available nearby but there wasn't. It would also be useful to have a water fountain or tap on poolside so you can keep hydrated. It was also quite dirty around the edges of the pool where you walk. It was clear that either they don't clean it daily or it isn't done very well.
In summary, the people, food and drink was exceptional but the facilities could do with some care and attention.
A really nice touch was that we'd said it was our anniversary and they had left us a chocolate and fruit plate in the room
Good food, although most vegetables were inedible. Desserts were fabulous. Breakfast standard hotel buffet, not much choice for vegetarians. Rooms comfortable and clean, bathroom particularly dated. Swimming pool and spa areas very good. Most staff quite friendly but seemed to choose who to chat to, and it wasn't us!
