A lovely little place, we went for a child's Birthday Party. We ordered food as well as the cream teas that were offered for the party and the portion sizes were spot on and the food was very tasty. The price was very reasonable and didn't take long to come even though it was relatively busy. It was lovely to see the free range hens and catch a glimpse of the working farm in the background. It was clean and inviting and I would go back again!

Heard good things about this place and wasn't disappointed. Good food (breakfast) and good service all at a reasonable price. A hidden gem and one I'll be re-visiting soon. We even got a guided tour form the lovely guy who owns it

We held a baby shower in the barn at the back of the tea rooms today. The barn is the perfect venue, shut off from the public so we could enjoy the celebrations in private. We were able to decorate prior to the guests arriving and play games after we had finished eating. The high tea was delicious and the staff were helpful and courteous. Worth every penny and would definitely recommend! Thank you to all the staff at Northney Tea Rooms

We stopped to walk the dog then had a lovely lunch . My partner had the beef burger which he said it was the best he has tasted. I had the buck rarebit on the homemade bread which was great. The pot of tea was lovely & we finished of with the well known ice cream.

A hidden away gem, away from the maddening crowd. With a family history to read all about in the menu. Local produced food, their own milk, ice cream, their own pedigree beef burgers. We sat in peaceful surroundings with a view of lush green fields where there beautiful brown & black cows & calf's were munching their way through the field. A menu with everything you need with quality by default. Visit again..Yes probably in the next few days Check out what was the barn...See for yourself what they have done with it!!

First visit to the tea rooms for afternoon tea to celebrate a family birthday and we couldn't ask for anything more lovely homemade cakes, scones, sandwiches and quiches - so fresh and tasty. Fantastic service to top off the great food too... thank you for a lovely experience, we will definitely be back soon!

Love it there. I went first for afternoon tea as a Mother’s day present. Been back a few times with my grandson 14months old and he loved all the chicks, ducks and chickens. Then yesterday took my 90 yr old uncle and he absolutely loved his full English and the the animals just wandering around. They also have gluten free foods, love the farm purchases too. Fresh eggs, milk etc.

Really lovely little out of the way farm cafe. The food was delicious and staff really friendly and welcoming. It’s quite popular with locals and sometimes have to wait for a table. This just shows how great the place is.

We had afternoon tea here and it was absolutely delicious! Every item was super tasty, particularly the quiches. My little boy had the children’s afternoon tea and it was equally delicious and also very cute. Staff all very friendly and lovely location too

We stopped for a quick lunch, good service. Food was nice, the barn section seemed a bit cold. Seemed well run and nicely built.

This is a fantastic cafe, absolutely love the setting on the farm. Food was fantastic, service was super! There was ample parking and there even is an AED which is brilliant. They have an amazing history, run private functions and of course you can purchase milk from them, so support local! Highly recommended

I've experienced the excellent food and amazing puddings and cakes on numerous occasions. Each visit is as great as the last one. The staff are brilliant and the tea house and facilities excellent. You only need to visit once to have to return again and again.

The food was great value for money and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only negative with our visit was the shear amount of wasps, there were no available seats inside and swarmed us as we tried to eat our lunch

Beautiful tea rooms with a very welcoming atmosphere. The food was superb - I had the cream tea, the scone was huge, it took a while to eat it! If you're a fan of cows like I am, then there is a massive bonus of your view being made complete by them! I highly recommend Northney tea rooms on Hayling Island. #SupportLocal

Great service from the staff in an ideal country setting this was perfect for my friends who were over from Canada and wanted to go somewhere that felt very suited to the surroundings. We went just before Halloween and the converted barn (where we sat to eat) was decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. We were seated and our order taken with no delay but without the feeling of being rushed and we didn't have to wait long for our meal. We visited at lunchtime the meals we chose were delicious, substantial and good value for money......they also sell ice cream made from their own cows milk.
