This was our first point of call after our journey from Yorkshire for our holiday in this area. We arrived at 6.30pm and its free parking after 5pm. We parked up and walked down onto the beach. Go to the immediate left and that is the smallest incline to the beach. Further along it gets steeper. The tide was out when we arrived and walked along towards the right. The sand is soft with very few stones and is very wide to allow plenty of people to get a place to set up. The sunset was great. We had walked back up to the top by the carpark and sat on edge to watch the sunset. Looking forward to going during the day.

Beautiful spot if you want to enjoy a lunch or late diner al fresco with a view in your car! Free parking from 5 to 9pm!
You can access the beach on the sides and it's so peaceful/beautiful!

Found this by accident. Stayed here overnight not sure on the day price parking but after 6pm it's free, 5 pound overnight parking what the guy comes around and collects in the morning. Very quiet when we where there with short walk to 2 pubs and asda and a few other shops back down on the main road
A great place to see the sea and get on the beach.
It has many potholes so be careful when going around and parking.

Beautiful place but I bet is better to visit during the summer, it was a little bit windy but the beach is amazing.
Gorgeous views and short path down to beach , but car parking machine totally useless , no rec to purchase ticket online , everybody wandering round very bemused , not good Hayle council .

Well marked out spaces with good sea views. Getting in and out will test your car's suspension!
