The best Sunday lunch in town, well worth a visit.. very friendly staff.
My Dog loved his dinner aswel.
Thanks for making us feel very welcomed.. Will definitely see you next year
Service was excellent. Food was great though expensive. Approx £16 per meal. Drinks are very expensive a glass of Prosecco £9.50
Atmosphere is very poor and uninvited due to a roast dinner cannot be eaten in a garden. The pub still have Xmas decorations in May.
A warm welcome and excellent service for our Sunday Christmas Lunch for 4. Great choice of starters enjoyed by us all , turkey all round with a good choice of veg, wonderful merengue , whisky tart and Christmas pudding. A very enjoyable lunch - highly recommended.
Great place we only had a few drinks, the staff were super friendly, and welcoming.
The pub was clean tidy and well decorated, we even sat on an amazingly comfortable leather sofa.
The food coming out looked fabulous.
Lots of signage about there Sunday roast which I imagine is great so booking essen
Having been here a year ago without mishap we thought we'd try again. After some initial issues with the website possibly being not overly user friendly on an android phone, we got there in the end and landed on time for our booking.
The landlady was exceptionally attentive and mentioning the dog
Very very very good burgers
Very very very expensive ( & everything , chips etc is extra ) .
I’d definitely go back though and
Pay the same , ( maybe get the kids some chips down the road first 😂)
Plenty of food - no Guinness and only brioche buns for burgers - dog menu went down well - staff were friendly and efficient
Food and atmosphere are great but considering our two small dog's and well behaved and spent the whole meal sat quietly under the table.
We found the owner to be less dog friendly and more dog tolerable and was quite rude when we first arrived to us about our dog's.
That said staff lovely and friend
Just enjoyed a delicious 3 course Sunday lunch as a family of 4 and dog.
Excellent service and the roasts was huge.
It gets busy so would advise to book.
The landlady was visible and doing a great job at keeping the place running smoothly.
Will return for sure on next visit to Cornwall
Had the Sunday carvery 16/07. Lovely meal staff attentive nothing is too much trouble. Have used the Cornish Arms over the last few years on our annual holiday. Can never find fault, even when the country had just come out of lock down the Cornish Arms was one of the only places that year who realy
I had Sunday roast with my family. We were a group of 10 but all got served at the same time; the food was piping hot, delicious and portion sizes incredibly generous. There was a good range of vegetables on the plate, each cooked with so much flavour. Although we didn't really have room we went in
