Myself and my wife just had probably the nicest breakfasts we’ve ever had. This is definitely Hayle’s best place for coffee, brunch and lots more. Both meals were made with a lot of care and hard work, not to mention quickly considering cafe was full! Hope to become more of a regular here for many years to come. If you’re in Hayle or even passing by - don’t miss out!
Visited Duckies for breakfast this morning. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. My vegan brunch and soya cappuccino were freshly prepared and delicious! Highly recommended.
What a gem of a cafe, we waltzed in with a 3 yr old and a baby, the staff were brilliant, the food was great (rarebit, brunch and an omelette for the pre-schooler!). Couldn't fault the service, price or quality of food! Definitely well worth a visit if you want great food!
We visited on Saturday and had a delicious lunch, can recommend the very tasty rarebit! Very friendly place with great service and great food!!! Thanks Mike, we will be back!

Had seen the place late one afternoon at closing time and told my self that looks nice I must pop back. Went in today to get out of the rain and was really impressed with the delicious coffee. Didn't have time to stop and eat but the menu looks good too.
Visited Tuesday morning with my missus and our choc Lab for breakfast! Amazing food and the staff was very friendly will definitely visit again soon!!!!
The best lunch today at Duckies! Fab food, I mean the best. So full was I after my main course that I could manage to eat the very tastiest flap jack. Great value and will be back again soon!
My family and I went here whilst on holiday! The service was 2nd to none. The jolly chap was fantastic even catered for our very fussy 2 year old. The butternut squash quiche was very yummy and the salad that went with it was delicious. My other family members had jacket potatoes which they said were really tasty. The cream tea was fantastic nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend this place for a tasty lunch.

Popped in for brekkie this morning- amazing doorstep bacon sandwiches! The man serving cut up our sons teacake, made it into a tower and served it on a tiger plate=one very happy 18 month old! We'll be back!
I had a hearty plate full of mushrooms on toast with garlic, red onion and balsamic glaze.
My wife had the lovely parsnip and apple soup with gluten free toast. Highly recommended.
A fantastic little place to eat tucked away but worth a visit..... The guy/owner cooks and bakes from scratch, great service and very friendly atmosphere , not to mention fantastic food and value for money..... Nice to have met you from the two Geordies .... :)
Breakfast this good should be illegal! We googled here and thought lets give it a go! Its a small, welcoming little gem and the staff are fantastic! We ordered 2 breakfasts and a scrambled egg on toast for our daughter! The chef even asked if we wanted the crust on or off our daughters toast! It was a fantastic little touch! Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and we couldn't fault a single aspect of it! Nothing was too much for any of the staff and we are so glad we spent our money at a business that takes pride in what they do!
Biggest shame is we live over 300 miles away so wont be able to have another one until next year when we return.. so until next time.. Duckies! Its been a pleasure!
Amazing Vegan breakfast. My friend had the full cornish, which he said was also amazing. Our server was absolutely lovely, I would highly recommend. We were both to full to even contemplate the lush looking cakes. I will go again x
Just the loveliest place. Food was absolutely perfect, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Excellent vegetarian choices. Welcoming and happy atmosphere, and also really good value for money. Really worth travelling for.
This little place is a real gem, their food is beautiful and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Highly recommend the Full Cornish and Eggs Benedict. A must for breakfast if you’re near Hayle.
Based on tripadvisor reviews we popped to Duckies for our breakfast. Husband had cornish breakfast, I had a special comprising of crusty bread, spinach, smoked salmon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Delicious. Service was very good, staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous. Would recommend.
Absolutely fabulous Cornish breakfast freshly cooked with the choice of fried or poached eggs. And the biggest pot of breakfast tea for two. I reckon it had the equivalent of 6 cups (possibly more as we didn't drink it all) Excellent value. Staff friendly and fun.

The food is presented amazingly and with care, and it's tastes brilliant! We had the pulled pork bun, all day breakfast and shared a waffle. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else.
Nicest meal that we have had so far on our trip. Small but very well run cafe. Food was very tasty & good quality. Priced reasonably for what it is. Staff were extremely friendly, we will probably be back before leaving Cornwall.
What a breakfast! Popped in on way back to Wales from St Ives, googled somewhere for breakfast in Hayle and this was top and rightly so! Perfect breakfast. Good staff. Lovely gentleman in there that lived locally let us perch on his table and had a good chat. Thanks.
Duckies is an absolute gem! Had a full vegan breakfast here and it was delicious! The staff are so lovely, they seem to know all the colourful locals by name. It felt as if we’d been coming there for ages, absorbed by village and family life.
