Booked for Sunday Lunch, both had the standard plate at £8.50 and were glad we didn't go for the large option as we would never had eaten it! I had the roast beef and my wife the roast pork, both meals were excellently cooked and served with a selection of fresh vegetables. The beer I had was one of three available on draft and was a delicious pale ale, so delicious I had to have a second. The staff were attentive and very friendly; excellent place to spend a Sunday afternoon!i

Fitted us in at short notice, delicious food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved how the pub was so dog friendly too - little treat for our furry four legged family member. Definitely recommend

Popped in here while down on our hols and the food and service were absolutely amazing, a proper traditional village pub that you don't find much anymore, plenty of parking. Me and my wife and parents were made to feel very welcome, will definitely be returning next time we are down. The barman and lady that served us were extremely friendly as were the locals.

Called yesterday and asked if they could feed 10 of us... They were absolutely brilliant! We were all starving from being on the beach all day. 7 adults and 3 children, nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming and friendly, brilliant service and amazing traditional home cooked food. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful welcome we had after looking at the Christmas lights. I don't think our dogs wanted to leave... So much fuss and so many treats.

Wow, what a find. Tucked away up a hill with stunning food. Had the steak pie which was to die for. Fab service, great atmosphere with mix of holidaymakers and locals. Kid friendly. Crumble was gorgeous as was the cheesecake. Couldn't fault....you need to book in advance.

Great local Cornish pub with small village charm. The service was 100% on point. The food was perfect for pub grub. Great that there were so many different selections to choose from. Great range on draught. Highly recommend! We felt very welcome! Looks like they do a great pub quiz night too! Make a visit here for sure!

Such a gem of a place. One of the friendliest welcomes we have ever had. Attentive service, great food and a lovely atmosphere. The nacho started was particularly good. Steak special was perfectly cooked. All in all they got it spot on. Thanks so much to the whole team. We'll definitely be back.

We found this fabulous pub by pure chance and so glad we did. With a dog in tow they were very busy but found us a table and promised us food. We'll what stunning food they delivered with the most amazing steak and ale pie from their normal menu and a chicken mango curry from the specials board served with superb service in a great friendly pub. Would definitely recommend it and would love to return again when in the area. Oh, and the train bridge is worth a viewing, too.

Excellent food, in terms of quality and price, the home-made nachos are amazing! Not a packet of Doritos in sight! The service is something you would expect at a 5 star restaurant. Prompt, polite and personal. A wonderful find on my recent visit to Cornwall. If you want good quality pub fare at a sensible price in a cosy, friendly environment, the Angarrack Inn is the place for you.

Chose this pub for food as it opened on a Monday evening and it's dog friendly. A very friendly welcome, efficient service and delicious food, well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken and mango curry from the specials board followed by treacle pudding with a generous portion of custard.
