We went to Colosseo last night as a special evening before our baby comes along on Friday!
We have been before so knew the food would be spot on! And it didn't let us down! The food is so fresh and delicious. We had the ribs to share for a starter as well as some garlic bread. The ribs were in such a flavourful sauce, I would highly recommend these as a starter. For mains I had the homemade meatballs and my partner had the calzone with Bolognese sauce, both were gorgeous! The staff on arrival were really friendly as always . However the music was so loud we couldn't really hear each other talk. The service was good, we didn't wait ages for food , however we did have to wait a while for drinks and to get attention from waiters to order more drinks even though our empty glasses had been there for a while, even when they brought food to the table. I ordered water at the beginning and had to ask 3 times before we actually received it. However it didn't dampen our evening and we still had a nice time . :)
Fitted us in without a reservation on a Saturday night, so lucky! It was really nice to dine here, food and service was absolutely A1!

Great Italian we discovered by chance whilst staying at the the caravan and camping club site. 15m walk along the river. Great food, service and value. Recommended!
We had a fabulous night here celebrating my son's 40th birthday. Everyone said their food was amazing. Mine was beautiful and adapted to veggie. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We have been before a few times. The rest of the family have said they will definitely be going again.
1st time we tried here. Food portions are really good and great selection of drinks. Unfortunately I was too full to try dessert but will definitely try again
Went late on a Sunday with my partner. Staff were really polite and efficient. Pasta dishes might have been the best I've ever had. Prawns super fresh. Wine was great. Prices not too bad considering the location.
Absolutely great service, got seated instantly despite arriving 20 mins early, served us drinks nice and quickly, they had to ask us to swap to the table next to us which was absolutely fine and they moved everything over for us! Waiter even pulled out the chair for me to sit in and they were all absolutely incredible! Really cute little Italian atmosphere and food was delicious! Because we moved tables they also gave us a free shot. The prices are very good and reasonable for what you get also!
A hidden gem, amazing Italian food - one of the best pizzas I've ever had, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. It's so rare to eat in a restaurant that just gets it right!! We will be back on our next visit to the Peaks.

The food is easily the best Italian we've had outside of Rome. Attentive and respectful service, quality cocktails and wine. It was busy, we didn't have a booking but they had a table ready for us within 10 mins. Nice balance of relaxed yet classy. Even our teenager enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
