Me, my wife and our 4 month old stayed here recently for 2 nights. Our time here was great. The service from all the staff was superb and they were very accommodating as they were able to sterilize the baby bottles for us in their kitchen. Perfect little cafe as well with delicious halal food. The owner was even kind enough to provide us with a list other food places and activities to do around the area. The room was nice and clean and there was plenty of space to get the baby travel cot in. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be going back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Millies. The breakfast was tasty and the room was clean. Rukiya was also very accommodating especially with our 9 months old needs. The chocolate workshop was informative and enjoyable. Will be recommending to our family and friends

Great place for breakfast (also Halal). I had something called Kaya’s special and it was absolutely amazing. Finished it to the last bite. Now I understand how they were entered into the finalist for ‘breakfast & brunch award’ Highly recommended for those passing through Peak District. Great initiative for inclusivity.

Brilliant little find for breakfast on our cycling trip. Very unassuming tea room with a fantastic menu with English and Indian options. I had masala eggs and chickpea curry washed down with chai - all incredible. Very friendly service - highly recommended

Rukiya and Beverley both provided amazing service. The minute we stepped foot, we felt very welcomed. They both took the time to explain the menu and ensured we were served in a timely manner despite it being a very busy Sunday afternoon and ordering as a large group of 6. As a Muslim, finding a halal place was important to us, everything meat based was halal! The food was very fresh and delicious. We were also served tasty hot drinks (e.g. Masala drink) - just what we needed after a long cold weekend hike. My favourite dessert was the cheese based scones with cream and chilli jam. Very accessible from the main hiking trails. I will definitely be coming back.
