The Pack Horse - Hayfield - Photo album

What can I say ? Absolutely blown away. We have attempted to get in here a couple of times but never been successful. Currently staying in the area, so booked in advance and I cannot explain how glad I am, the food and service were literally anazing. I was worried that they would not meet our expec
Just had the best experience at the Pack Horse... professional whilst also nice and relaxed a difficult combination to pull off, but done so with ease. The food is fantastic but as are the front of house staff it is definitely a team effort that pulls off a fabulous dining experience. Thank you te
Lovely pub and worthy of its place on the top gatropubs in the UK. Special shout out to Lola the dog who greets all guests and the person who selected the music. I loved the early 2000s indie music that played the whole time we were there.
Had no idea this is one of Britains top gastro pubs with Michelin accreditation. Only stopped for beer with Paulicarus. Had a lovely pint of Theakstones best. 4 real ales to try. Lovely dog friendly pub with some great Sunday Roast options. Possibly a little more expensive than the other pubs in the village, but no complaints about the food. Had the roast lamb...delicious! Mashed swede was like warm on delivery, but otherwise couldn't fault them. Will be back!
This was our first trip to The Pack Horse. Hopefully won't be our last, as it was amazing! We got a very warm welcome from Lola, the pub dog, but it quickly became apparent that Lola was trying to simply soften us up so we'd get her treats! Very impressed with her cheekiness. All the staff we enco
My meal at the pack horse was a great start to the new year. Truly one of the best roast dinners I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The lamb croquette was the highlight of the lam roast dinner for me. The octopus starter was delicious with a great balance of flavours and textures. I'd definitely recom
