Excellent food and ambiance. Weekends are super crowded but the place is absolutely worth it all. A definite must try are their grilled prawns preparations. We tried achaari jhingaa and tandoori jhingaa and both were so flavorful. Their laima choma is our all time favorite and a definite must order if you're a mutton chops lover!!
Madhus - Sheraton Skyline - Heathrow
Date of Visit: 08.10.17
Time: 6.00pm
Review: Arriving early and taking a drink in the hotel pool sky bar just on the ground floor courtyard takes you away and so you feel like you are on holiday, drink selection a mixture of a full bar including a few mocktails and cocktails. I had the strawberry kiss, a nice way to start the evening and this bar is open from 4pm. Very good and friendly staff both at the sky bar and restaurant. The restaurant has a nice feel and has two private dinning rooms which is a bonus and an area to also cater for birthday parties. You get a view of the open kitchen which is always a nice feature and pleasant decor. A nice place to eat but the food is as you would expect and no real surprises, which is not necessarily a bad thing. You are also given complimentary mini popadoms and three sauces.
Booking Process: I could not book by calling the main branch and seems like you just have to pop in or maybe call the hotel.
Location: Located within the Sheraton Skyline hotel, London Heathrow, Hayes UB3 5BP, England.
Tel: +44 20 8564 3380
Parking: Hotel has its own car park and if you spend over £20.00 either the restaurant or hotel reception will validate your parking for 3 hour stay. You need not pay at the meter just remember to get your car reg validated before you leave the restaurant.
Decor & Lighting: Not too bright or dull and heavy on the red but its done tastefully and a pleasant surprise.
Ambience & Acoustics: I did not take a DB value on the phone but the level of music is just right and you can have an easy and pleasant conversation without the need to raise your voice.
We had the following Food:
Sheekh Kebab - A large portion of 4 with a subtle spice and served with a little salad and mint sauce.
Achri Gobi & Malai Broccoli - A large starter and served with a little salad. Had a good taste and remained crunchy but very subtle in taste so maybe a little bland for some.
Khasta Veg Samosa - A portion of two and really enjoyed this and served with a little salad
Murg Makni and Rice and Garlic Naan (Main) - A nice dish with a big portion of rice and main portion big enough to share. Well cooked and consistent with other places i have eaten so you won’t be disappointed.
Bill / Cost: £55.00 for two of us without any alcohol
Conclusion: Good Service and fresh food but nothing out of the ordinary but a safe bet for an Indian. The menu is not the largest but covers all the main options and enough selection for all. One really big negative point to bear in mind is that they don’t do doggy bags so no take away and stating a silly excuse that its the hotel policy. Having eaten at nearly all hotel chains and many restaurants this is a disgrace and I would say that it should be mentioned when you are seated. I would suggest you order less then order more only after you finish what you ordered. I would still however be happy to go again if in the area as its a pleasant and relaxing environment.
Rating: 7.0 out of 10.0
Having been to the Madhu's in Southall and also because this was next door to my hotel, went over for a dinner with some colleagues. The place looks upscale with lots of reds around and quite big as well. Being late and also very hungry, we went straight for mains and the food was good. The menu isn't as elaborate as it's property in Southall but the quantities are big, and taste well. Service is reasonable though it does get a bit warm inside, especially near the open kitchen section. Worth a revisit when in the area.
Seriously exceptional - came here twice during my stay, ordering a range of dishes and excellent both times. It is not often an airport hotel had a restaurant this good. Highly recommend
I love eating here the food is fresh and appetising
The restaurant is clean with a harmonious atmosphere
The staff are friendly courteous professional especially the management
Being a perfect foodie who is die hard Indian cuisine fan can never past by Madhu, their food is of excellent quality and presentation. Have visited their Southall and Sheraton restaurants and they are my absolute favourite. With less options you get good quality and quantity of food, a must visit.
Good variety of Mumbai street food. Great ambience. Descent food and well presented. The only downside is the price but overall a nice experience..
If you ask Joe Blogg’s on the street where you would find excellent Indian cuisine they may point you towards Southall or perhaps even Tooting. Ask the Michelin man and he might suggest Mayfair (Benares or Gymkhana). I don’t many would name Heathrow, in particular a restaurant located in an airport hotel to serve some of the best Indian cuisine in London. After all, I have always been under the impression that restaurants located in airport hotels are cynical operations – there to make a quick buck from passing by travellers who are unlikely to return.
I visited Madhu's during my stay at Sheraton Skyline Hotel. It is an Indian restaurant with a very niche and fine dining interiors. Being a vegetarian, I had very less options in the main course to order from. Their veg starters (aalo tikki, aalo papdi chaat, samosa) are really amazing. The vegetarian dishes from the main course also tastes good although Tadka dal channa is better than Dal makhani. The portion size served is sufficient for 2 people. If you are not staying in the hotel, I would suggest you to do a prior booking.
Madhu’s in Southall has long been a regular haunt of mine, and they have finally decided to add a second restaurant. This one, also called Madhu’s, is on the ground floor of the Sheraton Skyline Hotel on the Bath Road near Heathrow. It has a large dining room, seating 120 guests, with two private dining rooms. There is no natural light in the room but there are plenty of mirrors and the overall effect seems to me quite smart. At the far end of the dining room is a semi-open kitchen with robata grills (a charcoal grill of Japanese origin). The menu highlights these robata offerings, as well as having plenty of familiar dishes from Southall. The grill offerings were priced mostly from £7 - £9, with main courses £11-£14 e.g. lamb biryani at £14 and bread, including the rare (to London) romali roti, at £3.
The wine list has just over 50 selections, and I thought it very well chosen, as well I might since (full disclosure) I put the list together. To go with Indian food there are several Rieslings, a Gewürztraminer and some light red wines. The median price was £36, the list ranging in price from £18 to £199, with an average mark-up of under 2.5 times retail, which is very low by London standards. Wines include Goats do Roam Red at £23 compared to a retail price of around £9, Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Riesling Kabinett 2010 at £39 compared to a shop price of around £18, and Poderi Aldo Conterno Barolo at £95 for a wine that will set you back £64 to buy in a shop.
A pair of large achari prawns (£12) was marinated with spices and pickles then cooked over the robata grill. This is a good dish at Madhu’s in Southall, but I preferred it here because of the hint of charcoal that came from the grill (14/20). Lamb chops (£8) were even better, benefitting not only from the charcoal but a higher quality butcher used here than at Southall. These were superbly tender, some of the best lamb chops I have eaten (15/20). Malai murgh (£9) was also good, the chicken tender with a smoky hint (14/20).
The main course dishes were more at the level of the Southall restaurant. Chicken biryani is a stalwart dish there, and here was similar, the chicken still moist and the rice fragrant (14/20). I was less sure about masala fish (£13), which had a lovely rich sauce, but for me the fish was cooked too long, losing its texture (12/20). Side dishes of cauliflower and yellow dhal were fine (13/20). It was nice to see romali roti (£3) as an option here; it is perhaps my favourite Indian bread style, thin layers tossed in the air by the chef and then folded quickly over a hot steel hemisphere.
There are a number of unusual desserts offered, such as seviyan (roasted vermicelli cooked in sweetened milk) but my favourite is the kulfi. Most Indian restaurants buy in their kulfi, but here it is made from scratch, and it shows in the fuller flavour and good texture (14/20).
Service was attentive and dishes arrived at a steady pace. Portions here are quite large, but if you ordered sensibly then a three-course meal with a modest wine would come to around £45 a head. This is a bit more than in Southall, but then the food is actually better and the room far smarter.
Wow! The food here is fabulous, not your standard indian restaurant. They serve high class dishes that you are unlikely to find in any other indian restaurant.
Our experience was from start to finish, absolutely wonderful. We were staying down the street at the Renaissance and happened to discover this gem on google! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the atmosphere and the friendly staff set the stage for what was a wonderful evening. The open kitchen was an incredible touch as well. Our waiter, Peter, was also beyond compare! He gave us honest, personal feedback throughout our dining experience that really meant the world to us! The food was delicious and spiced to perfection! With Peter's expert guidance we had just the right amount and walked away raving about of meal!
We will definitely be returning on our next
Heathrow overnight!
Visiting this Indian restaurant was an absolute delight. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu offered a diverse range of authentic Indian dishes, and I must say, every bite was a burst of flavor.
The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and friendly, especially John. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. The flavors were exquisite, and the spices were perfectly balanced.
The restaurant's commitment to providing a truly authentic Indian culinary experience was evident in every aspect of the meal. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their delightful dishes. Vinod is a great asset to this restaurant.
Great food in service definitely suggest making a reservation especially on the weekend to avoid a long wait!
Fantastic venue for social and business events. Veg and non veg option available. Very good menu options in vegetarian as well.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Madhu’s Heathrow restaurant and the highlight of my evening was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by our waiter. From the moment I seated to the final farewell, my dining experience was elevated to a level of excellence that left a lasting impression.
I was served by Jagjit Singh , he set the tone for the evening with a warm and genuine welcome. His professional demeanor and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. Throughout the meal, he displayed a profound knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations and patiently answering all our questions, ensuring i made well-informed choices.
If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend requesting jagjit Singh as your server at Madhu’s restaurant and You won't be disappointed!
It was okay actually. Decent evening with friends and family, free parking and pretty 🤩 A.W.E.S.O.M.E vibe. The food is a hit and miss. The non vegetarian curries were great but the vegetarian crowd was disappointed.
Good dining experience. We were looking for an Indian restaurant and wanted to try this. But overall experience and taste of food was good. Not only the taste but we also loved the presentation of food. The staff were quite courteous and serving with a smile.
Food was okay. Service was good. Ambience was nice too. Overall a decent dining experience.
It’s been delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. And I got my entree without cilantro on top, as I requested. Will definitely come back next time.
Lovely restaurant within a stone throw away from Heathrow airport. We attended as part of the BCA event. The venue was very spacious, beautiful decor and within the Sheraton hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to meet the owner of Madhu at the event. Starters were lovely, fresh and tasty. The staff brought out food in a professional manner and always available for refills of drinks and starters. The main course was again lovely in taste, fresh and hot and there was plenty of refills. We had khulfi ice cream with halwa desert to top off a lovely afternoon of speeches, awards, songs and friendship. Just outside the restaurant area is an indoor pool area with a tropical feel to it as though you are in another country lovely place. Look forward to visiting Madhu again soon with family.
Very good restaurant and excellent service all round by friendly welcoming staff, straight from once you enter all the way to you being seated. Make sure you enter your car registration number to benefit from the free parking. My only issue with the food was the kebabs. They didn't come out sizzling hot as they are supposed to, when you go to most pubs and order the same dish.
Excellent Indian food and the dishes, especially starters are all out of the world. So unique and full of flavour. The ambiance is great for either just a small dinner but also for special celebrations. The staff are professional and accommodating too. Highly recommend!
Best Indian food I had in London, the taste of all the curries are so rich and good, you can feel the taste in every bite. Garlic naan has organic garlic taste, jeera rice taste feels like the jeeras are imported from India. Daal makhni was awesome and so as baigan ka bharta. I hardly give 5 stars to any restaurant, but they have scored full in all segments… hospitality, food, ambience, everything… its little pricy but its value for money… cheers to the Madhu’s team for keeping this standard….
It wss lovely food with very good service. Do not agree with a service charge being added to the bill without consent. I don't mind giving a tip gor good food with good service, but please don't tell me how much I have to give that is the choice of the customer. As I said, very happy with the food and some very nice choices on the menu. Not the cheapest around but well worth a visit.
Probably the BEST grill I've ever eaten and my Goan family agree. The hostess and all the staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. For us, the grill is the star of the show though the curries are also excellent.

The food was really delicious with authentic Indian flavours 🤩 The chicken was so succulent and tender🤤 Absolutely loved the cocktails with an Indian twist 🍹
The restaurant has gorgeous aesthetics and luxurious interiors 🤩 The staff were very friendly and accommodating! ⭐ Madhu's serve authentic Punjabi cuisine with a Kenyan twist🇰🇪 The menu has a lot of variety including vegetarian and Halal options 🌱
The lively ambience makes it a perfect spot to visit for date night or with friends & family for a special occasion 🥰 Thank you so much @madhusaofficial for making our evening so special evening ♥️
Madhu's food was excellent - again. Last time I was at LHR on a layover I stayed at the Sheraton specifically to try Mahdu's - again this time, and it surely did not disappoint. The service is excellent, the food is superb, and the prices are reasonable. Warmed plates, candle heated holders for food, crispy naan, every detail is perfect. My only area for improvement would be that it is not a very cosy restaurant. The lights are dimmed, but it is fairly large, and a bit 'cold' to the look. Can highly highly recommend.
