The Rose and Crown public house, in the centre of Hay on Wye, is a short walk down from the clock tower towards the river. It has a bar serving various beers and soft drinks, a pool table and two screens showing music videos. The staff are young and very helpful. It's a good place to stop in this busy market town on the Wye Valley Walk and Offa's Dyke long distance footpaths.

Great food and staff were really pleasant and welcoming. The food was delicious and sorted us out before our canoe trip.

Had a lovely meal I had the curry witch was amazing and my girlfriend had the fish and it was massive portion very nice cider selection highly recommended
