Fabulous tasty food and good sized portions. We enjoyed it so much we came back for more. The cakes are delicious too. We were too full to eat them after lunch so took some away for teatime.
I had the best halloumi salad in my life!! We sat outside and my partner had ratatouille and a delicious scone. Loved the atmosphere, everything!! Will come back for sure!! Highly recommended!
Absolutely amazing. Service is fast and courteous. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Excellent black pudding. Do not miss it if you’re in town!
Food, staff and decor were perfect. My only complaint is the prices were really steep! Quiche, salad and latte cost me £17!
Absolutely delicious, wholesome food. Friendly and quick service - can’t wait to go back! Goats cheese & strawberry salad and open beef sandwich to die for 😍
I had a fabulous lunch here, and loved it so much I came back for breakfast. All the food was cooked with love and care, and the raw ingredients carefully selected. We have spent the last week touring Hereford and Shropshire, enjoying many meals, but this stood out as the best. Wonderful fresh salad
This is the best cafe I think I've ever visited. The quality of the locally produced food was superb, excellent coffee and wonderful cakes. And the owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful too.
Food very tasty (beetroot & carrot falafel with houmous and salad). Good portion sizes. Decor terrible. Needs more tables for 2 or 4 customers. No menu outside to catch passing trade. Out of stock of many drink options.
This is one of our favourite places in Hay on Wye! Most Thursdays (market days) we have breakfast or brunch here, accompanied by our beautiful Irish Wolfhounds. There are tables inside and outside and well behaved dogs are always welcome. There is plenty of variety in the menu and everything is fre
A very tasty Welsh breakfast, in an amazing building, which I am assuming was actually a granary in days past, with associated décor, equipment and implements clearly on display. Our breakfast was promptly served by polite staff. And most importantly our dogs were welcomed and made a fuss of. Will d
Lovely fresh open sandwich platters made with local produce. Outdoor seating is widely spaced and you get to watch the world go by as you sip on your drink and nibble. Staff are super friendly and come to your table to check you are enjoying your meal.
On are way to Pembrokeshire, we stopped in Hay on Wye for a spot of lunch. Open sandwiches were just what was needed to fill a gap. Very tasty, excellent idea to mix orange slices and strawberries in salad with beef. Americana coffees were good quality compliment to an excellent lunch.
Absolutely delicious lunch at the Granary today. The chorizo and bean stew was very tasty and wholesome, the fish cakes and salad were 'to die for' and my feta and olive quiche and salad was amazingly flavoursome. Brilliant value.
Exceptional family run eatery. I cannot recommend highly enough. Care and quality at a good price. Well done.
Great food, helpful service. A few more vegan options would behave been a bonus, especially on the cakes, but what we had was superb, and the service was quick and helpful. Very atmospheric too!
