All food was wonderfully fresh and delicious with catering to a vegetarian diet too.
The tea was great and staff were kind enough to give my family and I a refill of tea (we didn't even have to ask).

Delicious Afternoon tea - no need to prebook unless special requirements. Seating inside or out. Plenty of choice on the menu. Staff friendly & welcoming. Excellent service. A delightful place. Will definitely be visiting again.
Took my friend for afternoon tea and the food and service was fantastic! Being a fussy eater they catered to my needs and nothing was too much to ask! Only problem was me and my friend couldn’t eat everything so they even gave us a box to take the rest home. We would both highly recommended this place and hope to return again soon.
Only time for a flying visit today, but we always manage to squeeze at least one in each time we come to York from Bristol. A real little gem.

A lovely vintage tea room with lots memorabilia around. Afternoon tea was Amazing and the staff were excellent nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend
