Lovely coffee shop, smashing staff and great menu. Regular visitor for breakfast and coffee. We also enjoyed the pop up restaurant a few weeks ago with the seven course tasting menu. Didn't think we needed another coffee shop in Haxby, but this one is the best!

Absolutely love the place. Have only lived in Haxby since the start of the year and been here more than any other place in York so far. Great food and coffee, really friendly staff and very accommodating to young children, dogs and babies. Go to place whenever we have visitors, we always head here for some food and are never disappointed. Great stuff!

Have waited in anticipation for this place to open and I wasn't disappointed. Friendly staff upon arrival, where nothing was too much trouble and a great atmosphere to enjoy some delicious food- a great choice from the menu and plenty of tempting cakes to choose from. The brownies are a must when there or in my case taken home to enjoy as well. Can't wait to go back to try other treats

Not even left the cafe yet and I'm so impressed with the service and the options! My mum is gluten free/coeliac and I am dairy free and they are able to cater for both of us!! Not just a boring salad! A yummy sandwich!!! I will be coming back again and again!! Thank you so much for a lovely experience as eating out can be hard for us! Ps they do soy butter and gluten free bread!!!!

We visited today, food was brilliant, so tasty and the brownies were amazing. Coffee was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were over and above attentive, brilliant. They promptly got us seated VERY quickly in a busy morning/lunch service, enabling my dad who is disabled to relax and feel at ease. Highly recommend

Stopped by for a Latte and a cheese scone and both were fantastic. Great atmosphere and nice menu selection. It's autumn now so I had a pumpkin spice latte which was excellent and the cheese scone, with onion chutney was lovely. The menu has lots of lite bites like sarnies and eggs on toast plus the cake display looked super tasty.

Cozy coffee shop with great food and hot chocolate. The sausage and bacon sandwich was made with high quality ingredients and was a nice amount in the the sandwich. I opted for the ciabatta version which nice and fresh. The hot chocolate was nice and sweet and chocolaty , would recommend if looking for a coffee shop in the area.

We visited on Sunday morning (10ish) the place was pretty empty but filled up straight away. Food and drinks were served quickly and looked and tasted amazing. My sister had Caesar salad and said it was the best one to date. My creamy mushroom toast with poached eggs was massive, presented perfectly and tasted amazing. You can ask staff for a take away box as portions are generous.

1st time here today and what a great place. It's very busy which tells me that it must be good and it really is. I have a dietary issue and the young lady who served us was extremely helpful. We had coffee and cake bothe well worth trying... delicious We'll definitely be back maybe to try the sandwiches or the soups as what they were bringing out for people looked really hearty, the breads look good and chunky and different varieties. The staff were excellent... service with a smile goes a long way for us so well done to them all.

My partner and I visited the cafe in Haxby this morning, I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. On arrival it was busy, however the staff did everything they could to ensure we didn’t have to wait long for a table. We had our orders taken and the food arrived quickly. Everything was hot, fresh and presented to a very high standard! I would recommend trying the scrambled egg on toast, as well as the Oreo milkshakes, they’re superb! The brownies are also delicious. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future!

Enjoyed brunch here on a Saturday morning with my family. There was a little bit of a wait for a table of 6 but the staff were very attentive and didn't forget about us. The food and drink were tasty and pretty reasonable too. The mushrooms on toast were particularly good - some of the best I've had anywhere. The atmosphere was quite nice although the tables were quite squeezed in together. Overall a good experience and definitely a lot better than last time I visited 3/4 years ago!

As visitors to Haxby we decided to have a Sunday brunch here. Bearing in mind it was Mother's day it was extremely busy here but we were seated quite quickly. The atmosphere was great, family and dog friendly and obviously a meeting place for friends. The food was amazing, and as a vegetarian I was spoilt for choice!! Ruth and the team were so friendly and welcoming, this is a must visit place in Haxby.
