The Wensleydale & chutney roll was great, and let us sit outside and enjoy the sun, rather than eating our lunch in one of the dark pubs.

Extensive range of jams, honey's, chocolates, cakes, sweets and cheese as well as some alcoholic items. Relish and other sauces and a hot food counter. Well worth a visit especially if you are looking for presents to take home!

Great little deli with lovely selection of good quality specialist foods, much from local producers. They have arrangements with the best of local suppliers including Higginsons Butchers, Woodalls for bacon and sausage, local eggs and the fantastic bread from Apple Pie in Ambleside. The staff are always lovely too. A pleasure to shop there.

Good for where it is. My only sadness was that all the cheese was pre cut and sealed in quite small pieces. I prefer to buy my cheese in larger pieces suitable to the event I am catering for. Still, it was a good selection.

Wide selection of interesting produce. Pity that I was travelling light and could not buy more.

Such a wonderful shop with a wide variety of goodies. I love Lemon Cheese, and I was delighted to be able to stock up on a couple of jars. What better way to finish my shop than with one of their wonderful ice creams. Definitely a little gem of a shop not to be missed.

Never disappointed in anything I have bought from here, whether it's treats for myself or to take as pressies back home. Also have tried the freshly made rolls when we wanted to take a picnic on a walk. Great value for money and all ingredients fresh.

Brilliant shop with specialist produce. Good selection of cheeses, honey, teas and coffees among other things. Found a very reasonably price loose leave tea in here. Didn’t stop for a coffee but it smelt amazing. Well worth stopping.

Great place to buy most things for yourself or as gifts. Great own blend coffee and chutneys/pickles. Offer take away food such as pasties which were yummy and fresh cheese + meats. Recommend stopping here if you're in the area. Would have given 5 stars, but they weren't inforcing their own rule of 3 inside, which made the small shop feel crowded and awkward, but that's mainly the publics fault.

Love this shop. Has everything from the traditional Bluebird bitter to more of the Hawkshead beers. Loads of lovely foodstuffs, you can certainly leave with a very full trolley
