Nice little pub.
Friendly and very busy team.
Food was good and good value.
Lots of people in
Proper old fashioned pub. Great & ever changing selection of real ale, always well kept. Menu of great value pub classics. Popular with walkers on Cotswold Way only a small detour (5 minutes). Dog friendly. Skittle alley. Pub memorabilia from local breweries. Good carparking.
This was a wonderful little stop during our hike on the Cotswold Way. The staff was so nice and kind. The food was great! An excellent cook there! A group of men were playing a rousing game of cribbage (?). It was very fun to listen in on their game. Their laughter was so enjoyable.
First visit here had steak and Guinness pie very good others had scampi two had faggots and chips must say all were very good portions highly recommend to go here
Really friendly welcome, and despite the pandemic, a lovely crowd inside, with a nice atmosphere.
Food was very reasonably priced, and good quality pub food.
Waitress couldn’t do more to help, funny, engaging and helpful.
A lot of effort has gone into making sure everyone is safe from Covid 19, c
We were visiting the area and popped in for a drink and a meal. It felt like a great local pub. Friendly landlord and a good mix of people drinking and eating. There was a good range of beers and the food was good quality, typical pub menu.
Good traditional pub. Love the small portions of food which avoids food waste and saves us money. Always happy to use this pub. Amenable to walkers.
Lovely country pub with great cask ales and a lovely beer garden. Made for a nice break on the Cotswolds Way.
A lovely friendly pub good Sunday roast l have been here before so it must be good
Great food, and fair price ,well kept beer and good selection.
I drink guiness and this is the best guiness I've had at any pub for a long time
could drive past it as car park entrance not obvious- Garden not enclosed but dog friendly - we went on Sunday ,food stopped at 2pm - service welcoming , prices typical of country pub 😀
Good local pub serving good pub grub. Friendly staff
Oh no! I have reached that stage in life when I have to accept I am no longer then man I was..... after 20 years of dining on the Large Cod in this, my favourite of pubs, the cod's jumboness has finally beaten me and in future I shall be opting for the Old Codger's. Can't wait to return 😉
Fabulous old fashioned pub. Great service, amazing staff and excellent food. We had a lovely couple of hours chatting and eating. Definitely give it a go.
Nice pub, nice staff, nice locals and very nice grub!!. Thank you to all at the Beaufort. Would definitely recommend.
Best pub in the World! Nothing more to say!
Wonderful place. Been in the CAMRA beer guide for many years (and justifying so). Warm friendly and welcoming. Great ale selection, and a good food option too. All set in a pretty, historical village on the cotswold gateway footpath. Well worth the trip from London.
