Really welcoming atmosphere and people, living up to it's name. Had a slice of cake and a cup of hot chocolate for lunch. Tip, if you ask for marshmallows, you wont need anything else to eat.

Haven't been in here in years but it's a great little cafe/meeting point now. Just nipped in for a quick coffee as we were passing through but there seems to be plenty on. Service was grand and prices were very reasonable,

Enjoyed a fruit scone with jam along with a latte coffee. Both very tasty nice to actually taste the coffee. Hint: Ask for a glass rather than their cups. Service was ok although they forgot to bring the scone!

Staff great, friendly and helpful. Comfortable and welcoming place. Had a tea/coffee and lunch. The pizza, ham and pineapple, was delicious, would like to try another variety next time. Panini very nice. The piece de restistance however was the raspberry chocolate brownies, gluten free, OMG, decadent, scrumptious, amazing! I would go back just for those! Very reasonably priced given the quality and portion sizes. Definitely returning soon.

Stopped for lunch and visited the cinema. It's a nice place, kid friendly and social, with a kids lunch box that can be made up. Needs community support, so should be used as much as possible.

Lovely small venue, nicely presented, informative, worth a visit and free of charge. The shop has a lovely collection of cards, soaps, jewellery, books, scarves etc mostly locally made and beautifully individual.

Museum with an interesting history We visited Hawick's Tower Mill Museum to see the Bernat Klein exhibition which runs until late April 2017. That exhibition was relatively small, taking around 15 minutes to view. Nevertheless it provided a good reminder of 1970's fashions, influenced by a designer living locally. We didn't have much time to see the rest of the museum, but the exhibition in the ground floor explaining the history of the building was very interesting. A model of the building during its construction helped to explain how the building had been subsequently expanded to its present form. There is a film running on a loop with further information. Recommended!
