Lovely cosy atmosphere. Very good food. Accommodated food sensitivity, and produced an amazing dish of warm salad, roast beetroot with feta and black pudding which was a taste sensation. Consistently good quality ingredients.
Very nice and helpful staff and delicious Scottish breakfast
Always good food. I eat here regularly, well, at least once a month. It's an unpretentious and welcoming restaurant hidden just off the High Street staffed by lovely chatty people. It serves lovely home made food, would highly recommend the only downside was on the day i was there lots of people who came in to eat and couldnt as 4 tables had been reserved so they couldnt stay. Sadly by the time we had left, those tables were still empty so they lost alot of business.
Although the location of this cafe is a bit odd, down a short alley by a pub, and the decor is a bit glum and twee, thd food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great for lunches, tea, coffee and cakes. They even serve wine if you want something a bit stronger with your lunch.
Absolutely lovely place, very peaceful and quite, the food is always brilliant and the staff and very kind, you get a really good vibes in there and would definitely recommend. 😊
A coffee morning visit and it was very nice as was the coffee and scone
Good food, fresh home baking at a good price. Staff are friendly and nothing too much trouble. Always enjoy a visit to Pickled Orange
The cafe is small but they serve really good food. It also has a very home from home friendly atmosphere.
