My husband and I are just back from what We can honestly say has been the best meal we’ve tasted and thoroughly enjoyed in Hawick for a long time! Starter... main... and sweet. Presentation-taste-portion size and the service from the waiter/waitresses were all first class!! I’d recommend santa marina to anyone!! Well done !

Another amazing meal at the Santa Marina! Have now tried their pizza, risotto and today pasta. All tasted fab and have tried chocolate cheesecake, Nutella and ricotta cake and lime and chocolate cheesecake now- yum � first visit trying their cocktails with lunch today though and they are amazing! Strawberry daiquiris are my fav �� such a lovely new addition to the town �
Santa marina did not disappoint us, the food was amazing, and I had 4 cocktails too which were good too, would defo recommend it 👍🏻.
I have been a few times and the food has always been excellent and the staff are great. I dropped in on Friday with my daughter as a treat for lunch before nursery and although we were in before lunch service began, we were made extremely welcome. We had a great lunch and the waiter and Simone made such a fuss of her, she loved it and now keeps asking when we are going back for more pizza. Thank you so much!

Made a huge booking for nearly 50 people who all had to be in and out within an hour. Santa Marina were amazing, super quick service and the food was lovely. They were efficient and well prepared, and reassured me that everyone would leave happy - and they did. 10/10!

Very pleasantly surprised by our off-the-cuff visit recent (we did book same-day for a party of 6). Service was very friendly and personable. Food quality was high, and the drinks selection top-notch. Would definitely visit again when in the area.
Every time I've been to Santa Marina it has been exceptional. The food is always amazing, the only place in the Borders you can completely guarantee you'll enjoy your meal, doesn't matter if you're sitting in or taking away, in a group or just 1 or 2 people, adults, children, everything is always wonderful. The team there are always friendly, can't do enough for you, and the atmosphere is great.

Lovely friendly staff and the 3 brothers that own the restaurant 2 of which were happy to take photos at end of the night.
Went here for my daughters birthday meal. Great atmosphere, great food and the people are so welcoming and friendly even when you have 3 small children. Love this place!

We were recommended to come here, so I thought we’d try it out.
We didn’t book due to it being a Sunday and the staff were great and found us a table straight away. Right away you felt at ease with the staff as they were friendly and chatty.
We ordered and it didn’t take to long for the food to arrive, the smell of the food was amazing and I couldn’t wait to tea my Sea Bass.
The kids had a calzone and a half portion of the main menu. The are the lot and loved it as did I !!!
Would really recommend this amazing restaurant and believe in supporting a nice small business that have clearly got it al right.

Have to give this place 5 out of 5 stars . From the service to the food and the restaurant itself it is far the best Italian around . I never got enough pictures to show and do the Santa Marina justice really as it was packed and this was on a Wednesday night at 7pm . This amount of people in the restaurant shows how good this place is . I got a starter of chicken liver with a chilli like gravy and honestly I could of eaten a bucket of these alone , they were that good . I also ordered the steak just to see how good the Italians can cook it and it was 100% on point . Cooked to perfection with loads of flavour , the only criticism might be it needed to be seasoned a little bit more before it was cooked but that's a little detail . The service was brilliant and with a smile also which makes a big difference.
I recommend trying the Italian beer called Menabrae , its a proper beer on tap with great none bitter flavour , whish I could get a case of them . The restaurant when you come in is really clean and tidy and actually bigger than you think. I would definitely say if you are near Hawick or in Hawick and you are looking for an upmarket meal but with really good flavours, prices then dont waste your time looking for anywhere else but The Santa Marina . This place has it all and is a real credit to the Town of Hawick . Well done to the owner (s) , Chef's and all involved in keeping this little Gem of a place going. Will 100% definitely be back. 👏👏👏👏👏

Enjoyed my lunch with school friends. The food was lovely. Service was good apart from spoiling my friends meal by putting large spoonfuls of parmesan cheese on it, when she didn't ask or want it so had to wait for a new meal to be cooked. Then the same waitress dropped cutlery, then picked it up and placed it on the table!! Felt rushed to finish off our drinks and leave even though there were plenty of tables.
Fantastic Italian restaurant in Hawick. It was that good, we visited on two separate occasions during our stay in the borders. Super friendly staff, dog friendly & most importantly, really fresh & delicious authentic Italian food.

Banging tunes from the outset, friendly staff and good food. Tables well spaced during this climate, and portions well sized and well priced. Soft drinks on draft were lacking fizz but aside from that very good experience.
It was a last minute decision to come here for dinner and we were so glad we did. Dinner was lovely and the service absolutely spot on. We had our daughter with us (2yo) and she thoroughly enjoyed her olives, pizza and ice cream. Would highly recommend and will definitely come again next time we are staying in the borders.
Very good dinner, nice service too. One group did storm out near us after being reminded they were over an hour late for their booking - not the restaurant's fault!
