Laburnum House Hawes Tea Room - Hawes - Photo album

We just stopped by for tea and cake. I had Bakewell tart which was like heaven in a plate, my husband had fruit cake with cheese which was equally delicious. The owner came out and explained where all the produce comes from and that the small businesses in the area source from each other, all playi
We were only going to have a cup of tea, but decided to have a little more. The cream tea was really very nice indeed, the scone was warm and melted in the mouth, and the cream was to die for. We saw some other customers'food being served and it looked equally good. We will definitely be returning.
Stopped in for a light lunch. The mushroom soup and cheese scone were delicious. The staff were very friendly and chatty.
Was lucky enough to stop for a tea and cake at this lovely coffee shop. It was late on a Sunday afternoon so was not expecting much. But what a lovely surprise the tea room was immaculate, we chose scones, which were absolutely delicious, served slightly warm (as they should be) and very tasty. Not
Didn't stop overnight so can't comment on the rooms. Stopped for a coffee and a scone they were absolutely amazing. Lovely large warm scone and a choice of jam's. Dogs are allowed outside and in the porch area which has a chandelier 😄. Will call again 👍.
What a wonderful place. Absolutely, totally and definitely 5 stars ! We only visited the tea room (twice) - the sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Home made, tasty and beautiful ! Service is warm-hearted and genuine. The place is also spotlessly clean ! Thank you for being part of making our holid
Went there for lunch, as we were passing and it looked attractive with all of the flowers in pots and the garden, alongside the red gingham tablecloths. Thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom soup, alongside a very fresh baguette, containing locally produced cheese and pickle. My husband enjoyed his chick
Beautiful tea room with well kept lovely little outdoor seating area. Only stopped for coffee and cake, received excellent friendly service. Carrot cake and fruit scone was exceptional and extremely fresh. Loved that the chef bought the food and highlighted where the clotted cream, jam and butter w
Lovely tearoom in Hawes. (Didn’t stay overnight) Great service, local produce and excellent customer service & attitude. Lovely garden. Make sure you check out the knitted cover for the salt box on the road, too!!
Certainly deserves it's high rating. The two guys running the tea room are passionate about the quality of their local ingredients and run the place very efficiently. We had the wensleydale baguette, local unpasteurised wensleydale , flavour was awesome. followed by probably the best scones that I h
Great service, welcome and given a little summerhouse to sit in, perfect space as we have two small children. Small menu but the food is incredible! Served by the chef who shared details of where all the food came from. We just had sandwiches but felt full and thoroughly satisfied. Very much recomme
Delightful hosts, comfortable surroundings and delicious food from locally sourced ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the soup and the Wensleydale baguette and only regret we didn’t have room for pudding.
Excellent service, lovely food. Really filling ham and cheese baguette, which was halved for mu husband and myself, and a lovely piece of fruit cake. Delicious. Really recommend this place.
Delicious food, excellent services ce. Very welcoming.
We had a quick lunch here: soup and a sandwich. Good quality, nothing fancy. Very quiet lunch room. Was a bit afraid to just chat with my husband.
Outstanding service including our dogs who had water and treats brought out before we ordered. Had a lovely chocolate cake and fruit scone with jam locally made by the chef. Both chef and waiter very friendly and sat in lovely outside area bordered by an abundance of flowers. A gem of a place worth
We visited Laburnum House just for a drink and a bit to eat but what a little gem. The cheese scone was outstanding and coupled with the slices of Wensleydale cheese was out of this world. The fruit scone was moist and the jam was gorgeous. The chef explained what was locally sourced which just add
Delicious afternoon tea. Warm, large scones with butter, choice of jam, clotted cream and choice of tea or coffee. Coffee was nice and strong. Locally produced food. Definitely recommend. Attentive service.
Utterly charming. A very cute, cosy and idilic tearoom in the heart of Hawes. Gorgeous outdoor seating area as well as a snug indoor tearoom. The staff are super professional and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time. When your food is presented, the chef explains in deta
