We enjoy our visits to daleside, it’s a lovely place and great restaurant there with good selection of meals, the lady waiting the tables was lovely and friendly but the one serving, late 50s very blonde, was the most miserable rude person I’ve had the pleasure of being served by in a long time must hate her job, never cracked a smile, definitely in the wrong job!!!
Lovely food, staff are very cheerful and happy to help, there are some beautiful products here, you can have a nice walk around looking at everything, and then go and have a nice meal or snack and relax,,
Just been to visit Father Christmas at Daleside garden centre. The children had a lovely time we weren’t rushed and got to take as many photos as we liked. No crying from My youngest this time Father Christmas even got a high five. They even got to choose there own gift.
Stopped off here to have some lunch and look around . Fantastic place. Food was amazing and cakes were out of this world ! Very nice x definitely be returning.
Took my little boy to go see Father Christmas today, I didn’t realise we had to book but a kind woman on the till let us in! My lb absolutely loved it thank you so much!� highly recommend and will be back next year!
Wonderful evening at Daleside. Beautiful displays. Well done to all the staff who have worked so hard to get it looking so lovely. Started my xmas shopping and going back for more soon. Lovely to see Potty Pete and Potty Pauline they have been very busy too.

Just a wonderful garden centre .. lovely cafe , clothing section with great offers.. the housing area is great for presents and gifts ... its well priced.. they have a good selection of plants and Christmas stuff .. worth a good look
Met a friend for coffee there. Managed, with great difficulty, to pass by the delicious looking scones on display and just ordered coffees. Excellent garden centre with lots of seperate areas to wander around.
Good garden centre. We actually go to meet in the cafe. It gets very busy at lunch time with the older generation! Good kid's meals. Nice soup. Plenty of cakes.

Large car park and adequate number of disabled spaces. Met a friend in the restaurant. Like many similar venues you have to walk through the shop to get there. As I have considerable mobility problems this can be a struggle and then the slope down to the restaurant, despite having a grab rail, was a challenge. Not sure why there's no access by the door which opens straight onto the car park. Nevertheless the food was good and the environment pleasant. Lost one star for the rather mediocre toilet facilities.
Pleasant time walking around here. Plenty to see. They have a good selection of plants. Restaurant is reasonable and the staff are very helpful. Everyone seems to have a smile
Just been here to get some bedding plants & a large pot for our Bay Tree.
Has a large car park & staff very nice.
Whilst here we also bought a trellis for our Clematis plants. They have a cafe on site too.
We visited this place after work. It was for the first time. We were impressed. The food was good and some great. A lot of flowers for your gardens and much more for good price. If I need anything for gardens I'm go there and not any more to another place.
Lots of nice finds , unusual gifts. Lovely cafe better still serves gluten free cake.
Good local garden centre,gift shop and caffi. Locally we call it Daleside but I'm sure I've heard people say 'Strikes' not too sure. Whichever name you like to refer to I'm sure you'll find everything you need for your home and garden. I love watching the water features they have on display! 😊
Very nice place, always well set up with a great selection of plants for in and outside. There's also some good garden furniture and BBQ essentials. As with many you'll also find some foodie bits and gift ideas so worth having a good look around. Prices are as expected but not over price like you might find elsewhere. You can also have a brew here too.
A great place to visit and peruse the huge choices in stock.
Extremely knowledgeable staff who can advise offer best options and give you some excellent choices.

Just had the big breakfast . Food was wonderful . Service was fast and efficient. Everyone was friendly and helpful .
