The Glynne Arms - Hawarden - Photo album

Nice little pub with small but interesting menu. I chose the Haddock and chips which was delicious with crunchy beer vatter and triple cooked chips. Son had the beef burger and onion rings as a side order. Tge burger was very tasty and the onion rings mouth wateringly good. Definitely worth visiting
We’ve eaten here twice over the festive period and we weren’t disappointed. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere cosy and traditional. We will be back again I’m sure! We returned again and enjoyed the beer battered fish and chips, salt and pepper Casheau nuts and warm soda bread and
Loved this place. Traditional style pub, with very interesting heritage. They have cask ales on tap, which I love! Also has a really tasty roast dinner. Would definitely visit again next time we're in Hawarden.
A great local pub with excellent staff and great atmosphere. They put a lot of effort into events and it’s always a pleasure going. They are on the pricier side of pubs but in my opinion worth it.
We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday at the Glynne. It was a fantastic day, the staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive. The food they laid on was really great and everyone had a brilliant time. Thank you to everyone involved in making this a lovely day and birthday celebration, Linda B
Excellent village pub . The Wrexham lager was perfect but sadly the same can not be said for the Community lager. If the staff had offered to change the pint it would have been 5 stars .
Excellent place. Nice service (always trying to make sure you are enjoying your stay). Good food options, lots of starters if you want to try a bit of everything and good list of main courses. Place is dog friendly.
Nice & clean, polite staff, good cup of real tea, tasty pea lovage & lettuce soup with a cheese scone, vegan. Lovely celeriac burger...dont know why but thought the celeriac burger was going to be made shredded & combined with something, it was a large thick sliced piece in batter, bit much for me b
Really great place. We were going to the farmshop but it is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. So glad to discover here. Delicious food, lovely staff. Loads of big tables to sit at. We will be back!
We wanted to try somewhere new and had family visiting from overseas so we decided to come here for lunch today. What a wonderful place!! Absolutely loved the decor, the ambiance was great, the service was nice & the food was delicious. Everything we tried was good. Nice size portions. Great value.
Not been for a while. And it's sill just as brilliant as before. Food amazing X
Sunday lunch large group of us fantastic food roast beef generous portion cooked perfectly. The only criticism finished plates left in front of us for far too long in between courses.....
This place is huge, I looked round while waiting for my fish and chips, which was very nice. Plenty of space for parties and group meeting, they even have quiz nights and other things, you have to call them for more details.
Lovely food, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Lovely spacious pub with a great dining room with large tables perfect for family meals! Food was very tasty and staff all really friendly :) Dog-friendly also, with treats available!
Lovely building with tons of nice artwork and antique decorations. Food was sublime the lamb rump with lamb shoulder croquette was absolutely divine.
