Moved to Haverhill in 2012 and asked where the best chip shop was, needless to say we’ve never tried anywhere else in town and why would we. Best chip shop I’ve ever used.
There’s only one chippy’s.

Chippys catered for our wedding all food was lovely and hot, delivered to clare, all guests names on the boxes ready to be given out straight away, guests complimented on how much great food they had it was hot and tasted delicious. Regularly call for delivery each week, always turns up on time with hot, delicious food. Pricing increases just like everything else from time to time but is always totally reasonable. Can't recommend them enough.

This is a gem of a fish 'n chip shop. I have gluten free requirements within the household, and they offer gluten free all the time, and it's as good as the wheaty stuff.
And they have always got my order right.
There's an in crowd of locals, and I'm not in it, but the staff are polite and friendly.
It's my go to when we visit my parents.
Excellent takeaway tonight. There was plenty of meat in my kebab. Tasty cod. All served hot. Quick service and friendly staff.
Lovely white fish, well cooked. Very busy had 20+ mins for fish and chips to be served. Haven't seen such a long queue for many years. Recommend to give this shop a try. Unfortunately we don't live near. Just visiting

Fish and chips is fish and chips right? Gluten free available all the time, good chips, beautifully fried fish, and actually pretty decent burgers. So yeah, fish and chips are fish and chips. But these are good fish and chips.
Been using the van at balsham as found the shop fish isn't cooked as good. Sorry to say had to drop a star. we had haddock tonight and not so good from shop but was that way so decided to pop in.
There is play area outside and a corner shop.
The parking is getting a problem for the chippy lots of vehicles that are parked there all the time big white vans not parked overly well. It does put me off going here. Plus the car park is very dark not much lighting.
Well staffed at this busy time. Quick turnaround, due to choosing Chicken and Chips meal. Excellent condition food, as usual.

Have recently changed to this Fish and Chip shop from another in town. Everything seems to be cooked to order. Great quality food. Portions are very generous. The large cod should be renamed a side of whale I think!
Definitely would recommend people try Chippy's out if they havent already.
Well if you want the best fish and chips Haverhill have to offer then you just know that going to The Chippy is right for you I mean look at this plateful I'm about to enjoy the best tenner I could spend on large cod and chips time to enjoy.
Excellent food best fish and chips. Service good can get very busy but you can phone in your order and be ready fresh cooked for you. Love it
