Lovely food all piping hot. Friendly atmosphere. Have been here before and Will definitely be back again soon.
Came with my grandparents and we had such a lovely time! It was a busy Saturday evening but our server was on top of things, our drinks and food both came quickly. Atmosphere was great, lots of families dining and having a nice time. Our table was right by the window with pretty fairy lights. The sea bass on the specials menu was so good! Our experience was above and beyond the what you would usually expect from a chain pub. Thanks for a lovely evening x
Lovely friendly atmosphere when we arrived. We had booked a table and were escorted there promptly. It was nice and clean and tables were nicely spaced. We ordered from the 3 courses menu. The food was lovely and fresh, good sized and extremely good value for money. We had a great evening and would definitely visit again.
We decided to book a last minute table after picking the kids up from school, couldn’t be bothered to cook. So called in to Lost coins Haverfordwest. We had a fantastic welcome from the start. The waitress who greeted us took the time to interact with the children and was very patient when taking our order. The manager came over and made us feel really comfortable. It was a pleasure to be there. The kids really enjoyed it. The food was really quick, warm and very tasty. Will definitely be back!
6 of us ate here. We asked to move our reservation forward by 1.5hrs, unfortunately they didn't have space in the restaurant but did in the bar area. Despite not there not usually being table service in the bar they did accommodate us for our special occasion. Nothing was too much trouble, no faults could be found with our food, we all felt we had good value for money, but most of all the staff were everything you'd want them to be. Highly recommend.
The staff were excellent, very attentive and helpful. The setting was perfect, clean and well presented. The service was prompt. The food was hot, well presented and tasty, good value for money. However on the negative side there was a period during our meal when Christmas songs were being played through the speakers, a little baffling as Halloween has not yet passed.
I came in for lunch today as usual and I must say the service I relieve is the best around. Beth is amazing so helpful and smiley. Tanya was very helpful too. Thank you girls. They always make me feel very special and welcome, which is so lovely for someone who eats alone. The food is always presented well and the portions are good for the price. I’m definitely a regular here but thought I’d write a review to say thank you to the girls. A lovely team of staff here who work tirelessly to keep their customers happy. Please pass on my thanks.
Had to wait quite a while to be served. Then when the waiter came to take a drinks order while we wait, it was nearly 15 mins before we had the drinks. Also had to ask 3 times over this time for a children's menu. We kept being told they would bring it over now. Ended up going to the manager to get this.
The food itself was really nice, just the service let it down.
Lovely restaurant and dog friendly which is good. I would go again, due to the quality of the food. Just wish the service had been better
Nice food. A little on the pricey for pub grub essentially, but nice all the same.
My wife and I called at the Lost Coins following a shopping trip.
We hadn't planned to dine here, thus we hadn't booked a table. However, the staff found us a table without fuss or ceremony. Inside the Lost Coins was spacious and clean, with a nice atmosphere - happy punters and staff alike.
We'd skipped lunch, so we were starving. We ordered a starter (nachos) and a couple of medium rib eye steaks.
In fairness, the steaks had a good sear, were served perfectly medium, and with nice sauteed mushrooms.
Chips were nicely cooked with a modest portion size.
Our meal for the price was good value and overall the experience was good.
They were very short staffed and explained and apologised as we arrived. The restaurant was very busy. On saying that, they did serve food as quickly as possible. The food was delicious and staff very pleasant. Well done all
We thought this pub was one of the nicest chain pubs we have ever visited. Decor was bright and modern and particularly liked the way the areas were divided up into smaller eating places. The staff were polite, efficient and extremely pleasant. Our waitress, Chanice, was a delightful girl. The roast dinner was cooked perfectly to our liking with a good portion of vegetables. Will definitely be visiting there again before the end of our holiday.
Well what a lovely experience! Trio of meats roast dinner, utterly delicious and worth every penny. Casual, relaxed playlist going on in the background, not too loud, just right for creating the right atmosphere. Who doesn't love a bit of Motown on a Sunday afternoon! Special thanks to our waitress Beth, who was a delightful young lady. Warm and chatty and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended
It was great. We have visited the lost coins before, in fact we travelled from Swansea to Haverfordwest specifically to have a meal here. The occasion being my wife’s 70th Birthday.The staff are always really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We both had excellent meals, the service was quick and the food was piping hot as well as delicious. We will be visiting again.
We had food here after the local County show. It was very busy and I must say we had a really lovely meal. We had a kebab starter which was very tasty and I had a steak for mains which was also very good. Staff were rushed off their feet but they were attentive to all our needs. We sat in the dog friendly area with our cocker spaniel, which is nice they allow dogs. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening.
Both my wife and myself had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked to our preferred tastes. The front of house staff were amazing, very polite and helpful and always on hand. I couldn’t have experienced a more delightful afternoon. Thank you to everyone involved
