Lovely feel to the restaurant, brilliant food and portion sizes were decent! We booked via the medium of facebook messenger and all was fine. This was definitely a good find and as being local, we will be visiting again (and possibly dragging friends/family/etc with us!). Thank you!
The location is stunning with lovely beaches and walks all around. St Brides itself is full of character and a great place to stay. Only slight negative was the onsite restaurant. There are better, and less expensive, places to eat within a 20 minute drive. Try Runwayskiln near the beautiful beach at Marloes Sands.
I have been to a lot of HPBs and I have to say this one was fantastic. Great facilities, lovely grounds, nice restaurant, friendly staff and nearby to surrounding beaches etc.
Well equipped games room
Pool with steam room and sauna
Billiards room with huge table
Bowels
Tennis court
Croquet
Pitch and putt
A good and varied collection of plants and associated garden items. Excellent cafe facility, easy parking and very helpful staff.
Our first visit and not disappointed as all their sites. Excellent accommodation and facilities. Lots of short and long walks often involving the coastal path.
Excellent place to stay..right next to Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Need to be an Holiday Property Bond member or close relative.
Fabulous views from the property, lovely walking and a great base from which to explore Pembrokeshire. Facilities, such as the swimming pool and outdoor bowls were very good.
Lovely setting. Cottages ample in space and well maintained, sadly a little too far away of everything. The little shop was very poorly stocked, I went in 3 times and the shelves were empty at 10 am.
All in all despite that we had a great holiday as the weather was kind to us.
As we had a dog, cottage 42 was great with fencing around, so we could relax, whilst dog was outside.
We have been here five times. Great every time .
One of my favourite HPB locations - had a lovely first visit there!
From the view as you approach the drive, to the friendly happy staff and the great facilities, this is a super location for a nice break.
We used all the facilities and joined in some of the 'events' too. The quiz night was very enjoyable, with a great host and it was nice to see a good turn out for it too.
The pool is lovely and perfect for wetter days. A good amount of shallow parts for my 2.5yr old to enjoy with us too and the pool opening hours are great.
Our apartment - number 7 - was the perfect size for four adults and toddler. Lovely living area where we could all relax and play games and great sized rooms too. So nice to have decent bathrooms with good power on the shower too! (compared to non-HPB places we've stayed in which are historical)
Yes the decor is dated... but it's old fashioned rather than unkempt... and maintains the history of the place. My son said "Wow this is brilliant!" as he walked in the entrance to the main building. That pretty much sums it up :)
The only thing which COULD be improved is the children's play area... its very solid and well made, but just one climbing apparatus with a slide and then one swing... well, it's a bit lacking!
Lovely as usual. All expected HPB stuff in a beautiful setting.
