Amazing pub...lovely food, great owner, great service and a real welcome. We go quite often with friends and have never had a bad meal and there is always a warm welcome. We had a large family occasion there recently and they put up all the decorations and set the room up for us. The staff worked really hard to ensure we all had hot food at the same time and were so friendly and did everything with a smile. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how accommodating the staff and the owner was. Would definitely recommend.

Visited for the second time today as a party of 5. We ordered the steak, sizzling chicken, burger and scampi.. all were fantastic! My steak was cooked to perfection with a tasty mushroom and garlic sauce. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries to accompany the meal. There wasn't a bad word to say about the food or service from anyone in our group. The owner (sorry I didn't catch your name!) pulled out all the stops. We've been to a couple of local places during our stay but the cottage is our favourite.

Had a wonderful Mothers Day meal with my mum and family. The food was delicious as always and the little body shop gift for each mum was a lovely touch. Thank you Matthew and team. Your roast dinners are awesome and highly recommended!

We stayed in Llangwm during October half term and visited The Cottage Inn. We had an excellent meal and fantastic service. They also allow dogs which is brilliant as our golden retriever is a big part of our family. We will definitely be returning next year.

Absolutely fantastic. Are as a group of 10, everyone was stuffed and thought their meal was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, did a delicious vegan meal just for me. Probably the best pub meal ( vegan) I’ve ever had.

Today we have had the BEST Sunday Roast dinner ever, it was second to none. Hubby had lamb which melted in the mouth, son had beef which was beautiful and tender and I had the vegetarian mushroom and brie pie which was amazing. All served with Yorkshire puds, the guys had pigs in blankets, I had stuffing, crispy roasters, beautiful mash and the separate platter with veg was to die for. Leeks in cream sauce, butternut squash gratin and a medley of carrots, green beans, peas and sweetcorn. Lashings of gravy, it was truly lovely. The toffee and pecan roulade and the chocolate brownie were equally lovely. All of this was served by very friendly staff who smiled and chatted amiably with our 12 year old son who gave a rating of 100 out of 10. I have been several times before many years ago and remembered it being excellent which is why we went today. It did not disappoint but if anything has got even better. Compliments to Matthew the chef/patron...from a fellow chef...

Excellent……thank you! We’ve eaten twice here this week as we’re in the village on holiday. Lovely gammon/ curry/scampi and fish all with chips on a Friday. My son had booked the four of us for Mother’s Day Sunday lunchtime. The best roast dinners I’ve had in a pub….the roasties and gravy in particular were superb….great selection of veg and meats. Yum! And on a busy day where you can get really ripped off in some places, but absolutely not here. Thanks too for the thoughtful gift for us mums❤️ Wanted to mention too the young staff behind the bar….great work guys…friendly, smiley and helpful…you’re really getting it right. All in all just a really nice pub…with some great food prepared by people who can actually cook, not just warm it up or deep fry it!,…..and lovely staff. Thanks!

Really excellent food. Don't be put off by the slightly 70's plates. The chicken Diane was amazing and the chef actually serves jam Roly poly in a bowl with an adequate amount of custard, not on a plate with a thimbleful like most places.

We had four different meals and each was great and the service was friendly. We can personally recommend the curry, quiche, steak, chicken Diane, chocolate brownies and jam rolly Polly. Disabled access for a powered chair was difficult so we ate outside.

Good sized portions of very well cooked food, nicely presented. The beer selection wasn't wide but at least they had a local brew on. Staff friendly and the place is spotless.
