The Royal Oak - Havant - Photo album

Beautiful location. Lovely drinks on taps, good service but the food is really mediocre. The most exciting fact is that you can arrive in the early evening with no tide (sea) at the doorstep and leave at the end of the night with the sea lapping at the door. Visited Sep 2022 and Sep 2023.
Lovely food but very slow service, feel like staff doesn't know what to do or lack of communication.
What a great pub! Food was amazing, lively but not super loud atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice setting. Parking isn't easy but you can park by the other pub and walk down (about 2 minutes). You can't always get down there because of the tide so the other way is a fair bit longer but not undoabl
This pub has got lashings of character, and is located in a quaint corner by the coast of Langston. Around the corner from The Ship Inn, we dropped by walking along the pathway (in low tide, thankfully) and found this cute pub, albeit not a freehouse, with plenty of gin and fresh squid. Very pleased
Spent a very enjoyable time meeting up with past work colleagues for lunch Which stretched into the afternoon. In this tradition waterside pub. The food was Tasty, well cooked and presented, with a good variety of choice for a pub. And an additional festive menu. The service was excellent being fr
Great little pub with loads of character. Large selection of food you can enjoy outside in the canopies garden ( ideal this hot weather) or inside the cool interior). Not hungry? Then just on the edge of the key watching the water world flow by. Just relax and enjoy
We thought our sat navigation had sent us wrong (again) and nearly turned around and left but we spotted the Royal Oak around the corner, facing the sea. Parking can be difficult as it doesn't have a car park and there's double yellows part way up the street. Inside its warm, cosy and welcoming. We
One of the best locations I have visited. Very good food and very good prices. And is right next to the sea (when is tide). Spechless and very impressed. A place to visit by all means. One minus for the lack of parking space but you can park near a pub next to bridge and walk your way along the shor
Nice pub, no loud music, no games, no tv, just great atmosphere and views over the bay. The sea comes up almost to the front door at high tide. Friendly staff, good menu with good sized portions served quickly. Frequented by local dog walkers with their dogs. You can walk round the coast path from h
An impromptu visit to the Royal Oak, we ordered coffee and cake. We were delighted with what we ordered. It was very well presented, and both were delicious. I didn't realise that the Royal Oak had a lovely garden either. We'll be back for more.
Great staff, from the cleaner to the manager. All of them received is very happy with a big smile. The place is very picturesque, clean with impressive clean toilets. The overall experience was excellent. New garden furniture set up and ready for all. Good luck in the future. Thank you guys!
Beautiful traditional pub in an amazing setting with gorgeous views... Had the traditional Sunday roast which was delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely recommend and go again if in the area.
Great place to stop for a bite to eat and a few pints. would of given 5 stars for food but my bacon burger was over cooked to the point the bacon broke into pieces when I bit into it. the chips were amazing though!
Booked here for an early evening Sunday dinner. In some ways, quite a typical Greene King pub. Not the most inspiring interior and in need of decoration in places. However food was better than expected. Roast was a good portion and tasty. Took a little while to take our order but otherwise serice w
Visiting the area and booked Sunday lunch here on recommendation, was not disappointed the best pub Sunday lunch I've ever had. Fabulous old world pub in a beautiful location. Staff were very friendly too.
Very nice pub overlooking the water. They serve good ales and wine and good food. Staff are friendly. Recommended, only caveat is that during day is very doggy as lots of dog walkers pop in so if dogs arent your thing ...avoid
Freindly welcome, excellent meal and superb service. Lovely old pub right on the waterfront, nice beer garden. Would definitely visit again
