An old style pub in the heart of Havant. Outdoor seating area, 2 televisions and a fireplace inside. Extremely lovely helpful welcoming staff. Delicious Roasts served on a Sunday from 12pm till 2pm, would recommend booking in advance.

We were there for about 30 minutes but we were so impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the young lady behind the bar. My wife and I would recommend this pub to anyone.

Busy back street pub, lovely and quirky great ales HSB, London Pride, friendly staff and a place to chat and have some down time. It's opposite the church in Havant so giving you a taste of the country in the middle of a busy town. I love it. £10.05 for large white wine a d HSB pricier than some but the atmosphere and bar chat makes it worth every penny.

Its a quiet and friendly pub with good clientèle.Like a country pub in many ways ,also has a nice garden.I believe it to be a listed building.15th century and above all, decent ales and country wines.Originally a Gales ales franchise before Fullers took over all Gales public houses.Never really eaten there before, so can't comment on the food.apart from a bar sandwich for just over a £.which was tasty.☺

Booked for a Sunday carvery with my husbandand grandmother. Sat in the little garden outside on a table that was sheltered and out of the heat of the sun. Not a massive beer garden but pleasant. Inside beams and quite dark, but would be very cosy in winter. Options of small or large meal ( I opted for small which was enough for me), food was lovely, nice and hot, staff friendly. Would go again.

My old local from back in the 70's. Used to be a Gales Ales pub now run by Fullers. Extended at some time in the past so the gents toilet is now indoors! Still got that warm, friendly welcoming feel that I remember but with more places to sit!

Always like this pub. Couldn't say I'm a regular but always end an evening pub crawl here. Relaxed atmosphere during the week and can become lively at the weekends. A small, quaint pub managed well by the landlady. Regular or not, all are made to feel welcome.

This is one of the few places to get a sit down lunch in Havant that’s not a fast food place. A good choice of food and drinks which arrived swiftly even though it was busy on a Friday lunchtime.

The most relaxing peaceful pub and dog friendly the outside seat area is fantastic as they have a big shelter for relaxing under so good to sit and watch the rain while keeping dry and a drink. Best pub I have ever visited and I have been to 1000 in my travels' the staff and management are very chilled this as become my local, the food is 100% fresh and tasty...keep up the good work
