We had a lovely visit to the Ship Inn on Friday evening. The first thing we noticed was how lovely the pub looks from the outside with the lights and the harbour. It's definitely a favourite for locals as the beer garden was full and despite having quite a big car park we did struggle to park (we waited for someone to leave). When arriving we realised we had booked the table for the wrong date but the staff were very helpful and found us a table anyway. The food was delicious- the soft shell crab burger on the specials is definitely something I would recommend. The atmosphere in general was great, a lot of buzz about the rugby world Cup there and the staff were great. It's dog friendly with treats on the side and a good selection of drinks available. We would definitely return.
The beauty is the location! The views are fantastic over Chichester Harbour. There are lots of outdoor seats, and it really feels like you're on holiday when sitting outside. It has a seaside feel to it. The decor is fitting with lots of hayling islands, old photos, etc. Famous for locally caught fish, they also have a wide range of local real ales. Monday eve is quiz night. Dogs are welcome. There are a load of board games you can play, free WiFi, open 10am -11pm every day. The food is OK, the fish is fresh, but the oven chips and tinned peas lose this fullers pub a star for me. Its very easy to book a table on their website.
A lovely pub with a view. Indoor and outdoor seating. 2 floors indoors. Contactless payments. Good menu- different from the menu suggested on google. Generous portion sizes. Food arrives piping hot. Plenty of sauces available at request. Very friendly and attentive staff. Family and date friendly.
Had a great evening celebrating Trafalgar Night.
Lovely meal.
Amazing attentive service.
Thoroughly recommend for private party in The Ship's top dining room.
Excellent place to have a nice lunch or dinner, food fantastic service second to none. Outstanding afters 😀
Paddled over from Eastney on a Friday afternoon and received a warm, friendly and professional welcome. Lovely views from the outside seating and the food was delicious.
Lovely food and drinks at an incredible setting. We had burgers and fish n chips and food was all tasty and came relatively quickly. We really enjoyed the view and it was a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine on our way to the ferry terminal in Portsmouth.
Amazing pub. Everything was so fresh and scrumptious. Save a space for a desert (the lemon tart is exquisite)
Great food, pretty environment. Friendly service

Had a lovely meal on Saturday. Cooked to perfection with waitress service and atmosphere plus view of harbour in restaurant upstairs. Ate again there on Sunday, this time in the outdoor area. Roast dinner amazing. Definitely going back. Staff are lovely and whilst dearer than I would normally pay, it is very true, you get what you pay for. Excellent .
This was the first time we have been to The Ship Inn and we weren't disappointed. We weren't easy customers, I had a dog and one of our party is in a wheelchair. The roast dinner was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again!
Beautiful view of the harbour. The pub has a light open atmosphere. Great seating outside. The staff are quite personable. I liked it here very much all tho i did not eat the menu looks great.. Only downside parking chocker popular..
Haven't eaten there but they always have a good selection of beer and friendly staff and atmosphere

Food great beef Sunday lunch & fish n chips, staff all very attentive and friendly
Lovely pub by the sea with friendly staff and it's nice and clean. Good selection drinks and although I didn't eat here the food that came out looked very nice. Nice views outside with undercover and open seating areas and plenty of room inside. Well worth a visit 🍻
After a lovely walk down Billy Line from Havant ,a group of us have coffee here. The view across Langstone is beautiful 😍
I am biased! While visiting Langstone on this occasion, I first visited 45 or more years ago and lived in the area for 15 years. It is a brilliant location, great pub, happy memories and I love it. The food was great. Service could have been quicker, but it was no problem as I loved soaking up the atmosphere and surroundings.
