A decent local pub with a good selection of beers & spirits and a decent beer garden. Food is reasonably priced and not bad, expect usual pub favourites. Service is always good and the pub is always busy with a good mix of people. There is a pool table and darts board with plenty of TVs dotted about
It's our local visit most weekends, landlady and all her staff are outstanding with their service, polite and very welcoming and helpful. The presentation and the standered of food is very good, great value. The sports app is good thing to have I'd you want 10% off drinks or chances of winning stuff
Another lovely experience, we go to the heron alot it is always nice, the staff are friendly n have laugh with u (specially Marie's banter) n make u feel welcome. If I had to criticise something it would b the fries portion sizes have got a bit smaller.
Enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner yesterday. Great value for money, we all left full and happy. Yvonne and fine team were welcoming and the service was fantastic. We would definitely come again for Christmas Day.

Came here for my Daughters 16th Birthday Party of 20. Food was Amazing. Quick Service by Chef...Marie's customer service was fantastic made sure we was all ok and if we needed anything. Even made Special by singing Happy Birthday and Bringing out her Birthday Cake ❤️

Food was cooked really well, I had a mix it up with salmon & a jacket which was cooked really well & very filling, my husband had mac & cheese which was also tasty.

Come here more than often and the staff are always working hard and nothing is too much trouble! It’s definitely the best pub in the area! Must say thank you to Kelvin the head chef my son has eating issues and adapted the menu so he could eat! Absolutely amazing and deserves a mention
This place was one to avoid years ago, but how things have changed, had a meal here recently, and I must say I am totally impressed, great food, great atmosphere, staff very helpful and friendly, and superb value. This place has upped its game and is now the one to beat.
