Picked up a take away last night - staff friendly and put together a nice spread to suit the whole family, hot, medium, and tasty but mild. Thank you - the first of many.
Had a fantastic meal last night with friends.... One of the best Indian meals I've eaten & the presentation was amazing too. Will definately be going back again.

First time here and it was incredible from start to finish Food was amazing, staff so helpful and friendly LOVE the fact it’s a BYO with no corkage charge and they give you fully frosted ice buckets to chill your wine in. Brilliant for those on a budget or who have a specific taste in wine or beer!! We are from Edinburgh and eat out a lot around the UK This is one of the best Indians we’ve been too

Had a takeaway last night for the first time from the Old Counting House; Having moved to teh area recently we're trying to find our 'go to' Indian - and seems we've found it! Food was excellent, the delivery was faster than expected and the service on the phone and from the delivery driver was so courteous!!
The food was delicious, (i had the tandoori platter) staff attentive, slight wait but enjoyed my company. Only tiny negative it was a bit chilly in there
We have been to the Counting House a few times. The food is very good we enjoyed a Lamb Shashlik and Lamb Karahi Sag. Both were really good. The service was friendly and efficient. A really lovely evening. Thank you

(Takeaway Review) I thought it was good value for money. The heat of the currys were spot on. The only thing i would improve is the amount of ghee/oil you use in the currys, other than that we enjoyed it, thank you.
Fabulous food. Fresh and great quality. I had king prawn shashlik.... delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. There is bring your own booze policy which is fantastic. But ofcourse they have drinks for sale too. Wonderful 😊👍
Tried a takeaway from here tonight. Delivery was at the time they said, driver was very friendly and polite. Food was warm. Everything tasted delicious, the best Indian we have had since moving to Suffolk. Glad to finally have found an Indian takeaway we can come back to 🥰 and you get a free bottle of wine with orders over £45- bonus!😁

Easily one of the BEST Indian restaurants in Suffolk. The owner and staff make you feel extremely welcome, going above and beyond to provide a fantastic dining experience.
Situated in the stunning Old Counting House in Haughley. The food is beautifully presented and is as authentic as they come. The owner uses high quality ingredients and spices.
Lovely big portions with an emphasis on providing large portions of meat within each dish. Many Indian, Thai, and Chinese restaurants are often scarce with their meat to rice ratio, however the Haughley Indian make a point to provide the best quality and amount in each meal!
The restaurant has a quaint little bar with a wide variety of liquor's, wine, and beer. The owner and staff will often pour extra ;) for regular's and even newcomers. The owner is determined to ensure the customer receives the best customer service!
If something does go wrong with an order, the customer is often compensated in some way. I have not been to an Indian restaurant in Suffolk that provides as much quality as these guys. Make an effort to support our local businesses!
Good food. Interesting Menu. We kept to the chef specials and were not disappointed. We collected the takeaway and it all worked like clockwork.

Takeaway as on a short break to Cotton. Curry was fresh tasting and very good, enjoyed very much. As I were waiting I was served a drink. Nice touch, wife was driving so for customer service and fresh and tasty food reason why I have given a 5 star.
The food was amazing and the spices were well- balanced. I was staying at the travelodge and this is the closest restaurant to walk to. To be honest I wasn’t expecting this quality from a small town Indian restaurant. I am so pleasantly impressed by the service, the atmosphere, and the food. If you are in Stowmarket, it’s worth the drive or the walk to get here.
