A lovely interior with a great modern country house vibe in this restaurant. We visited on Thursday at lunchtime. The food is great. I had the vegan burger with skin on fries and it tasted decent with substance, just what was needed after walking the grounds and visiting the nearby Hatfield House. The staff were polite and attentive.

I really like this place and location and the staff, dog friendly too! However I do think the chicken for the chicken burger was incredibly oily so it wasn't enjoyable to eat. I would definitely come again though because everything else I ate was delicious and the portions are generous!

Weekend late brunch time! It was open for charity so not really busy. I ordered salmon beagle my husband ordered sausage roll with salads. All good was fresh and tasty 😋 I think they used fresh veg and meat. Salmon bagel 🥯 was fresh too! We had a good little relaxing brunch and my husband said this America-no coffe is the most tasty ever. Rich and full food brewing 👍👍 and staff are all friendly and toilet and seat are clean. We will be back soon :)

One of my favourite places to visit. It's a great place to go to study while having a coffee and cake and their £10 work offer is a great incentive too. The menu is a bit pricey but the food lives up to it. The staff are very helpful and friendly too

We were not impressed by the overpriced small portions of cake. If you are going to charge £5 for a scone and jam. Please ensure . The scones are fresh and a decent size. Suggest you visit RHS venues to learn how it should be done. Staff were excellent.

After walking the grounds of Hatfield House, our last stop was the Coach House Restaurant. Lovely restaurant, good service, was very quiet but likely due to train strikes so imagine other times could be extremely busy. The food was excellent!

Popped in with my daughter for hot chocolate and a cake. Not cheap but service was good and cake delicious. Visited St Etheldreda's Church a stones throw away . An amazing place of worship.

Afternoon tea was fabulous. Fantastic finger sandwiches that were of a very high quality and perfectly executed. The pork pies were exquisite, especially the chutney that was formed on the crust - simply delicious. The cake selection was again of a very high quality and a nice range of sweet options. This coupled with 2 glasses of prosecco and very fresh tea - as good as it gets! The table was fantastic, allowing us to people watch & the service was super attentive. They made our Mother's Day a memorable one, & for that I am truly grateful. Well done everyone involved. And of course ill be going back for more ASAP!

Prestigious location, and pleasant atmosphere within the restaurant. The Sunday roast was very tasty, and a good price, although the portion size was too small. 2 potatoes is not enough!

Fantastically accommodating with our last minute reservation and superbly quick service. We ordered lamb shank and vegan roast and they arrived in sub 10 mins. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed lovely Sunday roasts. We will be back. Thanks!

Hello , With the start of Spring , We thought we would have lunch in Hatfield . I do not post many reviews on here, but feel I want to praise this fine restaurant . We were greeted by a friendly , smiling lady , and shown to a nice table . It was not a very busy time , which was nice for us . We had lovely Wild Mushroom starters , Then I was very impressed with the Roast Beef main course . The meat was very nice , The selection of fresh vegetables was also excellent . The Drinks selection was appropriate. The staff were friendly and as attentive as was needed . The ambience in the Coach House grounds is always a pleasant experience . With the fair weather , and pleasant day , We had a really enjoyable visit to this Restaurant . I recommend it to all. We then visited the ancient Church , which is adjacent to the Banqueting Hall... The Vicar was there and gave us far more historic information . Overall , we had a wonderful day . To the Management and the Staff , I say , Many Thanks ....Keep up the Good Work!! With Kind Regards Martin

Visited the restaurant after a wine wasting event. We were the one of 2 tables, so we’re really surprised that they stayed open longer. The food was really nice, could t fault it. We both had fish & chips and our friends went for the steak night option with a free glass of red wine. Would recommend a visit if you’re visiting Hatfield house.

We went for lunch on Saturday, it was quite busy and so the food took a while to come. The staff were very apologetic as they were experiencing a delay due to the chefs also catering for an event. The food arrived and was very pleasant and delicious. The manager who was very kind gave us a discount on the food because we had waited for a while which was so thoughtful. Will definitely go back the cakes and sandwiches looked yummy so will give them a try next. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully, wonderful ambience, family friendly and there are plenty of places to sit.
