Great food always. friendly staff. New changes to courtyard are perfect. Recommend to all, village pub at its best.
Had a fantastic lunch here today. The food was amazing, i highly recommend the honey ham, egg & chips!! Proper home cooked food. Helen and Jadeen were attentive and lovely to have a chat with, thank you ladies. Had a great afternoon. Look forward to coming back more often!!

Great Pub with a friendly staff. Rob the new owner a great guy who took time out of his day to interact and make the visit that much more enjoyable. Will most certainly be back on a regular basis
Paula the chef is excellent. I eat here at least once a week. The staff are friendly and accommodating and my young daughter loves the play area in the garden and toys on offer to play with which keeps her entertained during our visits. ππ»π
Had such a great day out yesterday food was amazing great atmosphere great music the staff and landlord and landlady were so attentive throughout despite being rushed off their feet also love the fact great open space and camping site and a great facilities to keep children amused

Lovely pub and such friendly staff. The pub seating areas is so lovely, plenty of seating and some really lovely furniture. Particularly liked the sofa and arms chairs, they are gorgeous. Lovely quotes on the walls too. We only popped in for a couple of drinks but from what we saw of the menus there is a good selection of foods and reasonably priced. There is a cafe on-site too which is a bonus. A great play areas for the kids and plenty of parking too. We will definitely be going back. π
I went along for a Sunday roast during the eat out to help out a couple of years ago. An amazing meal, quite a plate full & they were surprised that there was nothing left!!
I went again last Friday for fish & chips & sat outside in one of the cabins which was very comfortable & cosy. A delicious meal & very decent portion.

Food looked really good, but I was having a few beers with a mate of mine. Serve some good beers and Ales at reasonable prices. Garden at rear and front. There is a separate kids play area at the back as well.
We popped in weren't booked but was served quickly. Lovely food staff and surroundings . Lovely play area for children. We will be back.
Driven past it loads of times bur never knew it was there. Its set back slightly from the road and accessed by a small road leading to a housing close.
There is a car park to the rear and entrance to the rear garden area. There is a small children's play area and an area of outdoor seating, some of which is covered.
We went inside for lunch.
There was a really good food selection and a specials board in addition to the main menu. I had liver and bacon which came with onion gravy, mash, and a selection of vegetables. My partner had pan fried salmon with lime and coriander rice and a seared oak choi. Both meals were delicious and well presented. We both also had sherry trifle for dessert.
A great find and a pub we'll certainly visit again. It is close by to Cranham Caravans where our caravan is currently stored so is very convenient if we have returned from a trip away.
This is a hidden gem! We stumbled across it and had an AMAZING meal here. The food was incredible - so tasty and very high quality. They get their fish in fresh and you can really taste that. Huge portions, great value for money. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

Random stop for us on the way to Burnham-on-crouch and what a find! Friendly, lovely beer garden, and amazing food, definitely the best burgers we have ever had! So many additional pieces inside the bun, it rivals the very best of them! Planning a return visit next time we are in that area
Early Christmas lunch with friends. Great hospitality. We decided to share dipping bread to start and oh my, we were breaded out, wonderfully fresh and crisp. Good that on a lot of the main meals you can choose to go small and the desserts were divine. Also well priced. Very popular so would recommend booking.
Food good, but not outstanding. Staff very accommodating, playground area good, plenty of parking. Outside tables plentiful, nice surroundings. Very kid friendly.

I had a very nice meal with family you can bring your kids as well outside is a kids area too. The steak was very tasty loved the Sunday roast dinner. Most important they've got a good selection of food and beer GF.. For me and family is 5 stars place
Excellent!! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent prices, lovely. Not fancy, just really good HOME cooked food, great portions, you will never leave hungry. We always have a great meal, relaxed comfortable evening, would recommend ππ

Thoroughly enjoyed my main meal, absolutely delicious. The pudding of my choice wasn't so good but it didn't put me off and I would definitely eat here again.

Had lunch here today with my wife, son and his family.
Staff were attentive and friendly, food was excellent with large portions at a very competitive price. Highly recommend even in these difficult times !!!

Wow, just wow, a small country pub that delivers big quality food. Its rare i go in somewhere and want 5 or more things on the menu. I could eat here for two weeks in a row straight without repeating a dinner and they are all amazing. Oh and the specials board. Didnt even get to desert because we were so full. Amazing. So good we booked for Sunday dinner too, oh and kronenburg is on tap. If they did rooms id move inππ. They do all your pub favourites, but when the chef gets to show off, oh, head and shoulders above most pkaces ive been. The team in here are super too. Id honestly rate it 8 stars out of 5 if i could. Well done!!!

Its awesome, i had the skate wing last night with caper and lemon butter. Really good still the best around
