Thank you, we had a lovely Sunday afternoon. We were a party of 6 and all the roast dinners were served hot and tasted as good as they looked! The deserts were very yummy too. The produce used is top quality. I would highly recommend this friendly pub.
Really yummy roast dinners served on a Sunday but puddings were a big disappointment. I ordered a brownie based off of an Instagram picture the pub posted which looked beautiful, with ganache like chocolate poured over the top. What arrived was much more 'slice of cake' consistency with chocolate sy

We found this pub after landing at Stansted and wanting to extend our holiday just a little longer. And we weren't disappointed. What a beautifully done out pub, with a menu that is inventive and flexible - in that they offer vege alternatives to most dishes. The food was delicious to boot! The

Second visit this month, this time with the family of ten. Simply wonderful. Made everyone feel welcome, warm on a cold night, beautifully decorated, and the food and staff were amazing. The food was freshly cooked, and very flavourful, and hot. Certainly not massed produced and served up to or
Very friendly welcome, nice beer Doombar, large range of wines and food in a very smart pub. The new owners are continuing to improve and decorate.
Warm and friendly pub:) David and Terry are very welcoming, there is a great selection of beers and the food is delicious. Loved the beef dripping sauce that came with my burger and the pork belly just melted in the mouth :)
Amazing place, great food, fab staff, super friendly and a really good atmosphere!

We visited The Dukes Head for the first time last week after being recommended by a family member and it didn’t disappoint! The pub had such a nice feel to it and also set in a lovely quaint village. The staff were amazing and the food and wine were just as good. Very impressed and would highly r

My partner and I came here for the first time this evening. I called at 3pm and managed to get a table for 5.30pm on a Sunday which is bonus. I believe some people were being turned away after we got there due to busyness. We both ordered the chicken and whiskey pate, really tasty. We also both ord
