I had a lovely birthday meal with my wife a couple of weeks ago. We appeared to be surrounded by others celebrating birthdays so it is obviously the place to go, and deservedly so! The food was lovely, service was attentive and friendly, I do like it when a waiter is chatty but not intrusive, it's a fine balance. Wine was good, and sensibly priced. It was a lovely evening out and will definitely be returning.

We had an amazing meal yesterday lunchtime after turning up without a reservation as a group of 10… We were greeted warmly and tables pushed together to accommodate us. The menu was fantastic and I found it difficult to choose. All our meals were just amazing and even the kids menu was super - a proper meals and no fried beige good in sight. Couldn’t recommend enough and wish we lived nearer so we can return

Was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. Mussels were amazingly fresh. Portion sizes were really generous, service was friendly and prompt Despite the restaurant being very busy. Pricing is more than fair given the quality of the food. Would definitely come back. Noticed someone putting a bad review of the older gentleman but he was nothing but courteous during our visit.

Food here is delicious and super fresh. The steamed assortment of seafood is really good, and goes really well with the sauce. Oysters and whelk are also super fresh, highly recommend. Prices are reasonable, service is fast and good.

It is a perfect space; we had mussels starters and tempura, and the steak and seafood linguine burst with flavours. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the food. Also great service

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and visited with my partner. Inside is quite small with an open kitchen which creates a cosy and intimate atmosphere. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had 5 taster dishes to share then the seafood linguine and monkfish burger for mains.

Delicious seafood, nice service in a very busy restaurant. Best place to go for seafood in Hastings…looking forward to my next visit! I would advice booking in advance as it is a very sought after restaurant .

Beautiful place to eat, fresh sea food with a twist. You can see your food being cooked. Wonderful staff. We had the five plate starter and it was sensational. For mains we had the seafood linguine which was amazing and my partner had the cod with the game chips and it again blew my mind. Would recommend booking in advance.

Visited for a nice evening meal whilst away for the weekend. The staff were very friendly and we chose scallops and a deconstructed goats cheese tarte. The scallops were nice although one was a little gritty and they lacked in caramelisation (but that is definitely better than being overcooked). The goats cheese was lovely - lots of tasty cheese and a thin flaky piece of pastry served with lots of lightly picked pieces of vegetables and pesto which cut through the rich cheese. For mains we had the Jacobs ladder short rib and the grilled hake. Both dishes were very generous (the beef was possibly even too big!), but they were both incredibly tasty (the table next to us even order 'one of whatever that is' with the Beef!). We only had one dessert and a cappuccino but the dessert was one again amazing. An ice white chocolate parfait with rhubarb and orange and an orange sorbet. The orange sorbet was possibly the best part of the meal (I could have eaten a bowl full of it) and the sharp rhubarb cut through the sweetness of the white chocolate. All in all a lovely meal. The restaurant is a little odd...it almost feels alpine in decor as opposed to a Hastings seafront and the music is eclectic but that doesn't spoil a very pleasant and reasonable priced meal. Definitely worth a visit

Had a great early dinner in the sun. Wife got a seafood platter with excellent Maldon oyster. I had grilled Plaice which was one of the best seafood dishes I've had in a long time. Attentive and nice staff!

The food was amazing, fresh, full of flavour and simly tasty. I'm very glad we stopped there for lunch. The fish and chips were the best I tried so far, with exceptionally light and fluffy fish coated in crispy butter. The seafood gumbo with pork belly was scrumptiously delicious. Hats off to the chefs of the restaurant. The service was also friendly, attentive, and fast. Highly recommend visiting Webbe's Rock-a-Nore.
