Great hidden spot perfect after a park run. Very friendly people and superb breakfast. Also loved the huge jug of tea exactly what you need on the side

We use Dugout Cafe all the time... The best Sunday lunch around by far π... Beautiful tender meats, crispy roasted potatoes, lots of fresh vegetables with trimmings... tasty home-made gravy.. All delivered on time hot and ready to serve..
If rarely any mistake is made, the owner is quick to remedy any problem.. Very satisfied and great value as well...

Amazing Cafe hidden away by the old bathing pools in St Leonards on sea. Sea views from the cafe, but most importantly the most amazing full English fryup loaded with everything. Lots of other options available as well, including lunches and roast dinners. They also offer takeaway through just eat. Finally they also welcome dogs in the cafe. Can't recommend them enough.
First time I have been here for years! Absolutely fantastic food and value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and food served very quickly, fresh and piping hot. The boss obviously cares about his staff and it shows, highly recommend and we'll be going there again soon. πππππ 10/10
Very nice food, very hot when arrived. The beef was lovely & tender.
Even had a call to say no pork but had a choice of 3 other meats instead.

Its been too hot to cook in this heatwave, it was also Sunday n I wanted a Roast.
OMG... It was absolutely GORGEOUS. (Man size too!) I had mix of Chicken and Beef. It was moist and tender and there was lots of it. The roast pots were heavenly, just how I love them...crispy golden and fluffy, and the veggies were plentyful n cooked to perfection.
Best Roastie I've had in ages. I just want to thank the staff for all their help over the phone with the mix up on Just eat.
I cant imagine how hot it was for you guys down there in that kitchen...but im certainly grateful for all you did...because your Roasties are the Bomb!

I cannot really say much, as I only went to do a collection of Pie, Mash & Liquor. But the lady I dealt with was lovely. Since then I have had a family breakfast on the cafe and the portions are huge, fantastic value for money and again the staff are great.
Nice little cafe , very dog friendly .. gave sausage and water for the dog - breakfast plentiful and cheap , lovely friendly staff .. near to beach and a dog walk .
Excellent service. Had Arments pie and mash and was lovely. Will definitely be back for more!!! Ate in the shop when I was a kid - took me back.
