The owner and our host was fantastic! His service was exceptional and made great recommendations for us after inquiring where we were from and what we would like to try! The goat curry was outstanding, the plantains heavenly, the spiced chicken brought back memories of sailing in the windward isla
Delicious food in a welcoming, convivial environment. We had the sea bass and goat curry, both served with jollof rice, which were a perfect blend of the Caribbean and West Africa. The interior decor is very creative, capturing the ambience of both regions. Highly recommended.
The best food I have eaten in Hastings. The owner was amazing recommend a few very good dishes for us and we all really enjoyed our meal. Price was very reasonable too. Will be going back!
Amazing African & Caribbean restaurant in Hastings. Food is spectacular along with the selection of drinks available at the bar. Nice sound system with great selection of music, staff are super friendly and welcoming. It can get busy at times but it is worth the wait!
Delicious Caribbean and African food. The menu was on the wall. Bright and colourful, nice decorations. Great music. We sat outside as the weather was good and had a great view of the high street. Staff are welcoming, helpful and chatty.
Delicious jollef rice with a spicy kick, I preferred it over t
Good food at reasonable prices. The jerk chicken was delicious, and pairs really well with the jollof rice.
Great food, great music but most of all the warmest welcome we've received at an eatery in many years. Can't thank and appreciate the owners enough. ๐โฅ๏ธ๐๐๐๐งก
Excellent food on two visits now consisting of : coconut soup, jollof rice, stews, spinach meal with kidney beans and ability to finish off at home next day as in picture now
We ordered our food online really late and spoke to the owner. Who had just closed the shop but regardless of that excepted our order and went back to open it and make our food. He was an absolute legend. Picked up the food, place was such a pretty vibe. Owner made and gave us the food, he was so ni
What a great find this was!
After a busy day of sightseeing and LOTS of walking around the country park/up and down hills; my fiancee and I were craving something different for dinner.
Being huge fans of Caribbean food, we jumped at a chance to get involved in what this restaurant had to offer.

Real authentic African cuisine!! I stayed in Hastings for a week and during my visit I ate at the Carib De Lโ Afrique several times, and each time was never disappointed!! Every meal I had was full of flavour, not to mention their homemade chilli sauce which I highly recommend getting alongside any

So good! This is the best Jerk Chicken I've tasted in years. Really good variety of items to choose from curried goat, jerk chicken, plantain, stews and sides. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and the drinks they have on offer are fantastic. Great rum cocktails. The staff are friendly hel
This place is amazing, we had the vegan patty, bean stew, spinach stew, rice and peas, and plantain, was all delicious! The rum punch was also banging. Service was great and made for a lovely evening out.
Had the Jollof rice, Beef spinach stew, plantain and rum punch. Too bad they don't have a loyalty scheme or happy hours. However this is not a fast food and seems to be run within the family so expect a service on the slower side.
Ok so, I have no photos of the food because I ate it all but I do have photos of the establishment which was beautifully decorated and you could obviously see the amount of work and effort put into the design. I bought a patty for lunch and it was so good that I bought two more for the way back home
