Conquerors March - Hastings - Photo album

Stayed at a site located around the corner from this place and happened upon it by taking a wrong turn. The week was a bit of a washout and one evening after a long day, decided to eat out and took our chances last minute just turning up. It was packed with restaurant goers. We were greeted by Izzy,
It’s the first time we’ve been to The Conqueror’s March and we were so pleased that we chose this place, the ambiance, decor, space, staff (especially Becky who served us) and food were first class. All prepared with care and attention. We’d definitely go there again.
A wonderful welcoming atmosphere delicious food and very friendly staff I highly recommend and look forward to trying out breakfast here tomorrow.
We held a Wake for My Father. The care thought and excellent service we received, especially from Angela and Dot, made a difficult time so very enjoyable. The attentive service we received from Ange throughout and her speed of service and awareness of need were very much appreciated along with the h
Met some friends for lunch here as it was a central point for us all, even though it was very busy there was a few tables spare. Surprisingly the service was very quick considering and the staff were very friendly. Can’t beat some nice homely meals cooked at a pub. Prices wasn’t too bad. Loads of pa
I had booked a table but was a little early and Chris was taking an order at another table but acknowledged us straightaway and then when he came over said it was no problem about being early. I cannot state how impressive Chris was throughout our whole visit. He is a credit to your company. We al
Went for dinner with my daughters, could only sit in the bar area as the restaurant was booked. Was found a table and served by Lloyd on the bar, very nice lad and helpful. The chicken kebab was lovely, the girls liked their food too. Kid friendly with play area, shame it was raining when I came hah
It was v busy so quite a wait for meal. Not a problem as we had time . Restaurant was noisy with music too loud. This was turned off later. Food quality was fine and portions plentiful. Lunch menu was reasonably priced. The major plus was the staff attitude. Without exception, waiting staff were ple
Excellent food, friendly efficient service in pleasant atmosphere. Perfect for a meal out with friends. Only one disappointment was half roasted chicken no longer on the menu which was my partners favourite.
We came as a group of four and we were shown to a table with comfortable seating and plenty of room. Our server explained that roast dinners often sell out quite quickly. The 3 people that served our table were courteous and attentive. We all enjoyed the meals served on hot plates and also the desse
I found the service to be very on hand, helpful and cheerful. The waitress was very nice and the food was cooked lovely. All in all It was a nice Friday evening and a good choice of venue..
Nice family pub… big spacious lovely decorated…. The service at the bar was a bit slow….but maybe because they are short of staff. We had a memorial lunch booked, was nice except they should display the name of dishes on the catering table. The people working in this place was polite. The toilets
Fantastic food, service was a little slow, especially with a hungry toddler, we had to ask how long the meal would be. Tried to clear plates whilst still eating and then didn’t come back once finished. Great to see a separate Gluten free menu, just needs prices on it. Helps the person with the aller
We had a very nice meal here, no complaints. Make sure you book. Food took awhile, but worth it. We sat outside.
Great service and wonderful food. The pub was well looked after, had a good atmosphere and a delight to eat at. I was entertaining colleagues and the location was well received.
A large group of colleagues meet here. Some items on the menu are very tasty and the space available allows us to configure the tables for large numbers. Possibly the loos could do with more regular checks. The servers are charming and handle the crowd well.
On arrival both the bar area and restaurant were very full with diners, we approached the booking desk and spoke to a lady who we later found out was Jess, she quickly checked and found us a table, as it turned out she also became our server, having ordered our meals they arrived in a timely manner
We are not local to this restaurant, but our family are. So 8 of us met yesterday. We love this place and we were well looked after. We had a toddler with us and a 12yr old disabled lad, of which the staff gave us ample room without being too close to other diners which is what we needed. . It was a
Excellent service and so warm and friendly. The staff are always smiling and very attentive. Great food and a lovely place to eat
