Prefer the coffee here to any of the big chains in town who mostly serve up burnt coffee beans. It's directly beneath my office so is a great place to take 5 out of the office with my colleagues. It also has a nice peaceful ambience there with mostly elderly or families making up there customer base.
Would definitely recommend for coffee meet up with friends or if you need somewhere to have a business meeting.
Brilliant. We've used this company to fix and service our coffee machine before, they fix what needs fixing and tell you what doesn't.
I called them this morning about a coffee grinder that was not working, and they kindly explained the likely cause and how to get it working again, rather than telling us how difficult it was and charging us to come and fix it.
My experience of this business is that they operate on traditional family business ethics of honesty and great customer service. We will definitely be using them again.
I can't recommend them enough. I'm not a company, but I tasted some lovely coffee at a local farm shop and they kindly shared with me where their beans came from. It was Rye Bay Coffee Company. I wasn't sure if they would sell small amounts, but when I called, they could not have been more forthcoming and helpful! On one occasion, they even offered to waver the delivery charge since they were already delivering to a cafe just around the corner! But the main reason I recommend them so much is because having purchased stale beans countless times from other companies, the beans from Rye Bay Coffee Company are always fresh. They arrive in packaging with a proper valve too, which allows the gas to escape but not the oxygen in. Anyone who knows their coffee, knows the importance of this. They are a really nice, friendly company and I would highly recommend them.
