Enjoyable and friendly Bar situated conveniently in the centre of Hastings and within walking distance of a few other worthy venues. Great for tourists like myself who dont know much about the area (we are from the Midlands) The staff were polite and friendly, also helping us with their local knowledge of the area and nearby bars. We only had a few beers, so unfortunately cant review the food, however some of the locals were eating there and the food looked great 😎👍 Will definitely visit on our return to Hastings Thanks Guys

It's one of the better Spoons that I've been to. Lighting is good. Staff friendly. Beer good. The only down side is the food here is definitely not the best of Spoons. Im afraid that the chef needs to go back on the schooling course. But overall a good place.

Went up to the bar multiple times with mobility aids and the young girl that served me offered to take the drinks over to my table every time. Very polite and friendly staff, with the assistance making my experience much better. I was only seated next to the bar but the barmaid still assisted me with taking drinks over every time we ordered. Thank you again for all your help.

Visited for breakfast on a day trip to Hastings. Bar was a little busy so ordered via the app. Can’t fault the speed of service which was quick and the staff members polite. As usual good value for money in a spoons. Looked like there were a dedicated bunch of regulars and the place had a busy vibe. Would happily go back to this spoons.

Great Weatherspoons in Hastings The John Logie Baird. Very busy, great service helpful and friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Was told 20 minute wait on food, but it came in no time at all. Very hot and tasty breakfast, presented well. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely go back again.

Used the pub for having breakfast while on camping holiday this year. Always somewhere to sit as very large venue. Breakfast great prices and good quality. Bottomless coffee and tea is excellent value which comes with the cost of your breakfast.

Despite a poor initial outdoor impression ( there's a busy bus stop right at the entrance with people sitting on the steps with prams etc., ) the interior is very spacious and has plenty of seating and tables. It seems eternally busy and rightly so, lots of menus and choice, a tea/coffee machine at end of long bar. ..FREE REFILLS ! Where do you ever get that!? Help yourself and it's well stocked. Staff are very busy but also efficient and personable. We expected a long wait for food as the place was buzzing, but No! Within 5 minutes of ordering at the bar it was on the table. Well then, it must be poor quality food and meagre proportions....but No! It was all good and tasty and almost double the portions expected. A breakfast with bacon stacked and ditto two eggs one on top of the other. Cooked just right too. We were very pleasantly surprised and replete as we eventually finished the meals. Which I will add were Really reasonably priced, especially for the amount of good food presented. We have no reservations in recommending this place if you're anywhere in Hastings. It's worth a walk but it's right in the centre! It has a busy air about it as it's actually a good town centre pub foremost, but the meals are excellent. You won't regret it. Decent Weatherspoons pub with huge seating area and garden. Very well designed and all the staff I've ever encountered are friendly. The food is good value and lots of choices and the drinks range is superb. Always able to find a table and reservations are not required.

Veggie burger was delicious 😋. Shame the vegetarian menu is so limited as there are lots of good faux meats on the market these days which are so easily substituted and thus offering a much greater options to vegetarians. Service was very good and staff very friendly.

Visit every time I'm in Hastings (live in Dartford) and honestly say on day of visit 6.7.22 it's about the best it's ever been for real ale. Great choice at the moment and quality spot on. Seems to have had a minor makeover in recent years too just a general decor tidy up (?). Staff great too. Hence it's a 5/5 from me !

Food was amazing as usual, service was fast, great prices, we always find seating and I didn't even get judged for being a Manchester lad who has beans with his fish n chips rather than peas 🤣 also the waitress (wish I'd of gotten her name) was absolutely LOVELY! Massive smile and so friendly. Can't wait to come again!
