Have tried many Fish & Chips shops,Being lucky to come upon this gem!The fish is done to perfection here,allways fresh,soft and steaming hot with the best golden crispy batter you can dream of.The chips is also of high quality!The service is good and friendly.Fish Hut is definately my favourite stop for fish & chips!
We called in tonight and sat at a table downstairs. Our order was taken by a friendly waitress. We both ordered cod and chips at £12.50 each to eat in. This was freshly cooked. The fish was very fresh and had a really good batter and the chips were perfect. A very good fish supper. Thank you!

Every time I’m in Hastings I always eat here,best fish and chips and service in Hastings,polite and friendly staff and more than reasonable prices,can’t recommend this place enough,would highly recommend
The chips there are bloody amazing, fresh, hot and delicious. Wish I lived closer so I could have them more often. Of i come to Hastings again I’m definitely going back there. Very affordable too for a budget holiday.
The staff there are also absolute sweethearts. A very friendly place to go.
Take away fish and chips was a great option and I was not disappointed, quick service on Sunday afternoon generous portion of chips and tasty cod all was perfect.
We felt really welcome the cook and waitress were really lovely and served us outside. A beautiful spot. Our chips were proper sliced not frozen chips they also serve alcohol .bonus..and we enjoyed the sunshine sat outside at their tables. The museum and fisheries all across road .. fresh as seafood. Highly recommended but there's only 3 tables outside so I would get a rush on if you want a good spot but they do takeaway too.thank you fish hut.
We wandered in with our kids looking for great fish & chips (or in their case, sausage and chips!). What a lovely warm welcome we got - table service was brilliant and friendly, orders taken quickly and the food was fantastic. Everything seemed to be cooked to order and was super fresh. My haddock and partner's scampi were both perfect, the girls loved their sausages (quote "I wish it went on forever!") and the chips were fresh and hot out of the fryer. Couldn't possibly have asked for more. Portion sizes were also spot on, not too big but just right, especially the childrens' meals. Our girls are already asking when we can go back for more!
Fantastic food and even better service. Even just getting chips is mouth watering - get fish and chips and you're in Heaven. Really fresh and freshly cooked. We loved it! To compare, we tried some other places near by, but it was not comparable. It is also a take away place with cheaper prices and it is open till late.
We have just left here, and want to say that it was a pleasure visiting.
From the moment we both walked thru the door…. We were warmly welcomed.
We went upstairs, and the waitress had such a lovely, and caring way about her.
So a definite 10 out of 10. 😊
Always pop in here for lunch when working down in Hastings. The food is lovely freshly cooked to order. The staff are super friendly and always like a good chat with their customers.

Top quality fish and chips, friendly staff and next door to a great pub! What's not to love?!

Wow, lovely food & awesome portions. Everything about out meals was beyond satisfying, batter on the fish was gorgeous. Lovely, friendly staff. 100% recommend & would use if I'm the area again
Popped in with kids when on a day trip and the service was great, the staff are super kind and friendly, and the chips were some of the best we've ever had from a chippy! Will make a beeline here when next in Hastings!

My wife and our grandchildren enjoyed our food non left over my haddock was good and my wife enjoyed her cod the grandchildren had sausage and as I say not a chip left
Our favourite place to go for fish and chips when visiting Hastings- we've always had good service and the food is always deliciously perfect 🥰
