Don't be fooled by the plain exterior, this is possibly one the most stunning shops you'll step into. Incredibly curated, expertly displayed collection of new and vintage housewares. A feast for the eyes. A must stop if you're in Old Town.

What an amazing home goods store! Housed in a fascinating old building, the range of goods is vast & the attention to detail with the presentation of items, both for sale & for display purposes, is second to none. It was a privilege to browse in such a unique store & great to be able to support a truly, unique, independent store. The cherry on the cake was the fabulous woman who took care of us (sorry - we didn't catch your name!) - chatty & friendly. We will definitely recommend & visit again when on our next visit from Hove. Thank you!

You can't be in a hurry when you dine here! The service is very relaxed although very good. The food is amazing,we had to book 3 weeks in advance but it was worth the wait! Highly recommended!

Absolutely marvellous shop in every way! Eccentric, eclectic, atmospheric, curious, practical, beautiful. Splendid customer service. Love it! Also just a word about the manager Lauren, who is a complete treasure. A delight to deal with, efficient and organised and bright, charming and welcoming to boot.

Very unusual place. A proper Home Store full of wondrous things, and a tiny restaurant out back. Looks very appealing. Open weekends.

We adore this shop, like stepping back in time, and you get welcomed with an open fire when it's chilly. Interesting stock, quaint interior, a must when visiting Hastings

They sell a extremely well curated selection of day to day essentials and homeware, all displayed in a period building that makes it look like an authentic museum. In the summer, they have a restaurant too.

Very impressed with the service when ordering an item from the online store. I know the site state that online ordering can be a bit fraught, as everyone is dealing with Royal Mail delays due to Covid-19, but they went out of their way to post the item and I received it the next day. That's impressive considering the situation we all find ourselves in due to restrictions.Such lovely and unique items on the online store too. I hope one day to visit and experience the store, it looks frankly amazing and so many nice things to add a little panache to the home.

A good friend told me about this store a few years ago. What a gem! Now it’s a must-stop shop whenever we are in Hastings. Not only are the surroundings beautiful, but the products are amazing. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful and the owner an amazingly talented young man. I was lucky enough to visit the restaurant one time too. Heaven on a plate! Make this place part of your tour of Hastings Old Town. You won’t be disappointed.

The range is so comprehensive I have never seen anything like it packed into one fairly small space. Brushes, cleaning pads, exotic-looking feather dusters of all shapes and sizes. Anything from cleaning hard-to-get-to narrow spaces, to high-hung chandeliers. There's also a huge range of enamelware and some vintage pieces, e.g. pâte moulds. If they haven't got it, you're probably not going to find it anywhere else.

Found the shop as we meandered in the old town. Brilliant slice of history very well executed. Took me straight back to my childhood. Some really great quality stock which I purchased with glee. Keep up the good work lady behind the counter, we appreciated your presence, sadly some members of our public are never satisfied.

Do you need a brush? This is the place to come. There are brushes here for things you never knew needed brushing. Exquisitely curated, enjoy the craft and care that fills this shop and even if it’s a humble dish brush I’m sure you’ll emerge with something that will make you smile. Well worth the visit for yourself or a great place to pick up a gift.
