Albion Hastings - Hastings - Photo album

Nice pub on the sea front that does fabulous pies! Back for our third visit. The chicken, ham hock and leek pies are our favorites which are full to the brim with filling. The chips and chunky and crisp and we go for the cheese sauce to accompany - lovely! Staff are very friendly. They also have a h
Just WOW! It's all about the pies here. I had the chicken leek and ham pie with chips, medly of veg and beef gravy. Gravy was on the salty side. Pie was delicious as was everything else. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly and professional. Will definitely go back when next in Hastings. Highly rec
It's all about the pies here! Top notch pies in a traditional pub with wood panelling and a woodfire stove. The pork pie ploughman's is epic. Not only do you get a big pork pies but it also comes with bread, butter, 4 different cheeses, salad, pickles, and sauce. The chicken leek and ham pie was del
Had a (booked) gathering here of about 14 people and we were beyond happy with our time here. Everyone ordered a pie and they were all delicious; piping hot and full of flavour. Service was very quick for food as well as drinks - we were always checked up on asking for more drinks if needed. Staff
Pies here are absolutely delicious. The chicken and ham one in particular was especially good. Definitely recommend. Very friendly staff too.
I’ve walked and driven past a few times. Last week we finally visited. Fantastic team, lovely crowd in there and a decent drinka selection. The food was fantastic - the pies are spellbinding: we steak and ale & chicken and leek. Both were awesome - filled to the brim with best ingredients - alle ho
I met a new friend in The Albion for the first time. I felt comfortable and relaxed. We both decided we needed something to eat. We had the steak pie and chips. Wow, the pie was amazing. Full of tender lean beef. The chips were OK, but it needed some veg, peas? Then, a band turned up and played s
Their steak and ale pie was the best culinary experience I've had in this country. The meat inside was succulent and the crust was perfectly baked. Their options for gravy left me satisfied. After this lovely meal, I ordered an espresso martini and it is by far the tastiest espresso martini I've had
Food, for what it is, is great. If you want a pie, then this is the place. If you don't want a pie, however.... then go somewhere else. But, atmosphere, drinks and music (when they have it) are all fab. And at its best, it is a lovely, cosy snug pub.
Great pies full of fillings. I had the steak and ale and it was full of good quality steak. Really tasty selection of gravy and sides. This is the second time we've eaten there and it had been smashing. Staff are really helpful and quick service.
