This is leagues away from most other Indian restaurants in the area. I went here for a special Christmas deal they were doing and we were served several courses with a selection of unusual starters including tandoori salmon. It was really tasty and fairly priced for the quality of the food. The service was top notch too. It's located on the Seafront and very close to the town centre.

Jali Indian Restaurant, Hastings New Town. (Approx 5.2 miles from us.) They regularly attend the 'Hastings Seafood and Wine festival' which is an excellent introduction to their Seafood Curry's. However, for the full experience, I'd suggest eating at their restaurant. Both visitors and management recommend it!

Best Indian Restaurant in a local area. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Loving the seafront location too. Would recommend it to everyone!

We have only had takeaways delivered from this restaurant so Cannot comment on the service or restaurant ambience. Suffice to say that this restaurant is a bit pricier than the others but then the food is so much better. The portions are large, arrive hot and are delicious. The menu is available online and they have a wide chice of more unusual dishes.

Absolutely fabulous food, cooked fresh and really delicious! Our waiter was exceptional, recommending a different starter when my original choice was sold out! Also made my choice of side that wasn't on the menu (Mutter Paneer)!!! He was so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we are in the area. Great meal!

Was there Friday night for a meal with friends. Best curry in Hastings. All well received, very helpful waiter with a good sense of humour (I ordered a Korma, he joked it was a Vindaloo 🤣). Will return with friends and family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After reading the good reviews I decided to give this place a try. Turned up without a reservation and was asked to wait while they prepare a table. After 5 minutes I asked for a pint of Cobra and was immediately served with a nice cold beer which certainly helped pass the time. About 10 minutes later I was given a table and promptly ordered poppadoms and a main course. I think they forgot about me as it was pretty busy. After 20 minutes the poppadoms, rice (jeera rice) and the main course(kolhapuri chicken) arrived. It was certainly worth the wait as the rice and main course was absolutely delicious. As another review said, the service is a bit like faulty towers, the staff are great and the girl behind the bar was dedicated to keeping everyone happy. I've been to many Indian restaurants over the years and I recommend you try this one. It's much quieter after 8:30pm where you might find a quicker service.

Phenomenal. "Fancy a curry?" she said. "Have I stopped breathing? Curry is life" my response. Because of Jali's Goan fish curry, eaten at a pop-up, we thought "give'em a takeaway go". Blinded. Prices, good. Menu, small but different. Delivery, fast and hot. Portions, spot on and so very, very tasty. I had the Lamb shank Raj. Treat yourself. At 52 I've eaten curry more often than anything else, and Jali is the best I've come across in 20 years. Use them or lose them.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Hastings. We love coming here for dinner, whether alone or with friends. What sets them apart, outside the excellent service, is great quality all ingredients and amazing fragrant curries. What a treat

Great atmosphere here Indian Fine Dining at its best. Highly recommended. Over the Christmas holiday, my Mother & I decided to eat out at the invitation of the staff & management at Jali restaurant. Our experience was exemplary, we were served by Robbie who was very intensive in detail. We would like to thank all of the staff at Jali fir making our evening so special. My Mother who is 90 years old commented that she would highly recommend Jali for its fine dining & the quality of the food in which it was served. This restaurant is a must. Highly recommended, very pleasant surroundings. Thank you so much Robbie & Parth & not forgetting all of their staff behind the scenes who worked tirelessly hard to produce such wonderful tasting delights. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Happy New Year & best wishes for 2023.

One of our best meals on a trip to Hastings. Very welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble. Chicken tikka 3 ways starter was excellent, really well done. Main courses were also a delight. Attentive service, reasonably priced. A great meal.

This was one of the most delicious curries I've ever had. Brilliant selection of curries, really great service from the whole team, and delicious sides. I asked for a very spicy meal and was not disappointed. The Goan fish curry was aromatic and very flavourful, The fried okra and Naan breads were also top notch. A true hidden gem!
