Came across this pub following a search for Dog Friendly pubs in the area... from the moment we walked in we was welcomed by the staff and customers, some great banter and a really friendly pub. The place is full of memorabilia and Character. A real jem of a place. And the food looked good So, .....we returned the following day to have a bite to eat. The Steak and Cheddar pie was .... deelish as was my wife's Salmon Quiche.... you don't leave Hungry thats for sure. I thoroughly recommend this place , a real english pub and great food.

Always enjoy fantastic food, service and welcoming staff. I would highly recommend The Three Oaks. If you have not been before - give it a go! We did and now love it. Thank you for another delicious home-cooked meal of huge proportions in a true old-fashioned pub.

Wife and I have just got back from yet another great Sunday roast. Had the large meal (again), and now in a food coma on the sofa. Eyes to big for my belly as it is huge plate full. Always have great service with a smile and will always recommend friends to go when they visit Hastings like ourselves. It's well worth going off the beaten track to find this little gem..

A pub with character, friendly welcome from the publican and locals. Dog friendly. Food to die for, all cooked fresh, great prices, just starve yourself for the day you won't go hungry. Doggy bags are available to take the excess home!!!!!

What an absolutely gem of a find. Considering there were 9 of us, the service was fantastic. Hot meals all ready together and as for portion size - incredible. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

Had the most amazing meal here on Monday 27th Feb with a friend and promised I would write a review. Lovely atmosphere, the food was to die for and very generous portions too! Don't let the roadworks put you off, it is well worth the effort. Easier to go via Buckswood School and then go left. The decor is a conversation piece by itself. A return visit is planned for the near future! Go, go, go!

We visited this lovely pub after trying numerous other pubs locally that had stopped serving food after 2.30pm. Staff were friendly, welcoming and polite, we were so pleased to find this little hidden gem. Great menu and great food. Would highly recommend!

Fancied a ploughman's for a change and wasn't disappointed, the best I've had in a long time and it was under £10! Made the mistake of having a starter too so struggled at the end! Lol The sweets looked scrummy but didn't have room for one...Next time tho 😁

This is my friend’s birthday! He chose this one because of the high ratings. Nice food with big portions. I love the banofee pie with ice-cream very much. We had happy chatting and nice meal time here!

I haven't returned here since before the pandemic, luckily Nigel is still at the helm, producing excellent Sunday roasts and desserts. Food always excellent and value for money, staff pleasant and amicable. If you are in the area I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a visit.

The food was amazing and the portions were very filling. In most pubs they serve small portions for a large amount of money. This pub is not them. I came with my husband and my children and they absolutely loved everything from the food to the customer service. The owner is really sweet kind and funny and made good conversations. I would recommend it especially for adults.

Great place for a Sunday roast . Best I have had for a long time. The pudding was lovely to and because we where quite full from the roast we have children pudding. But to be honest they where a great size and enough. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Would go back again.

What a lovely place, run by lovely people. I only stopped for a Diet Coke hiking through. I was thinking of getting a taxi the rest of the way and although busy, did everything they could to help me. The interior is so fun, and the food, whilst I didn’t have any looked fantastic and smelled wonderful. I stopped in randomly for a moment, but I am 100% going to find my way back.

The best Ploughman's lunch I have ever had. Took pudding to go- the sticky toffee pudding was so light. Friendly staff and a good laugh. Recommended.
